Government College, Daulatpur Chowk (GDC) is a well-known college in Himachal Pradesh. The college provides a wide variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields. BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): 80 students are admitted by the college to the BBA course. Admission is mostly on merit basis taking marks scored in the 10+2 exam into consideration.
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The admission in the B.Ed course is merit-based on marks obtained in the entrance exam and/or performance in an entrance test. The selection process is as per State Government policy and affiliated university.
B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): The admission to B.Com course is also on merit basis on the basis of marks scored in the 10+2 exam, especially commerce subjects.
B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): All the candidates who are seeking admission for B.Sc courses should have a 10+2 with science subjects. Admission is merit-based in the entrance exam.
MA Economics: Candidates should have done their bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or same stream. Selection will most likely be done on the basis of marks secured during the undergraduate degree.
PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): Admission to PGDCA can be given to candidates of any stream. The choice may be made on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying degree and previous experience in computer applications.
BA (Bachelor of Arts): Merit-based admission to BA programmes is made taking into account marks scored in the 10+2 examination in relevant subjects.
