 This is one thing which was evident in the first year itself and was the reason for everybody to sign up, including me. Some of the good IT companies either visit the campus or have a pool campus where the students fare well. Corporates in Pune mostly have students from this college and a limited others in its vicinity. Their employees and alumni of GCEK, make it easier for the current students to expect and the chain continues. Through MH-CET, after the autonomous colleges(my time - COEP, VJTI, Walchand etc) the Govt. Colleges - Karad, Aurangabad, Amravati and two others, in the same order are the most successful ones, in terms of academic merit & placements. My batch-mates are doing good in their jobs. College has been made autonomous now.

Yes in most of the colleges there is a facility of Lateral entry so you can get a migration certificate from the previous university and get it submitted to your new college and all done.
