• Candidates have to meet the GCE Salema admission eligibility criteria. 

• Eligible candidates have to register and apply for TNEA.

• The authorities will release the cutoff for securing GCE Salem admission. 

• The rank list is prepared by the authorities based on the marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

GCE Salem ME Admission Process

• Candidates have to fulfill the GCE Salem admission eligibility criteria. 

• Eligible candidates have to appear for the TANCET/ GATE entrance examination. 

• The authorities will release the cutoff marks. 

• Candidates shortlisted on the basis of TANCET results have to participate in the counselling process. 

• Candidates have to lock their choice of colleges and courses during the counselling. 

• Final seat allotment is done on the following basis - merit, availability of seats, category and preferences set by the candidates.

• To finalise the admission, students have to pay the GCE Salem admission fees. 

Candidates who have appeared for GATE do not have to appear for the TANCET entrance examination. Separate cutoffs are released for the GATE-qualified candidates. GATE-qualified candidates will also have to participate in the TANCA counselling.
