The highest salary package offered in  course is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zoho and Accenture visit here this campus for placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4 LPA..

Government College of Engineering Salem has not release the Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science cutoff list for MBC category for TNEA counselling due to some reasons. But it is expected that Government College of Engineering Salim will soon release the cutoffs for Bachelor of Engineering Computer Science course for MBC category.

It's not about the place but the stream that you need to consider as the two branches are very distinct from one another and provide diverse career opportunities. There are just a small number of government-related positions available in the market for civil engineers. So you should choose civil engineering if you want to pursue government sector jobs, which are limited.

However, compared to Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) has a greater number of work opportunities, therefore if you wish, you should pursue this field.
