GEC Idukki- It's a government college under the authority of the Kerala government, which comes under the rules of Kalam technical University. College authority supports all kind of co-curriculum activities. It have a placement cell , where you can train yourself for big competition outside the campus. Good Placement training is given to students to get placed in different companies. Placements in topmost companies. All the staffs are highly qualified professionals.
GEC Waynad-- The Infrastructure, academics, faculty and industry exposure is great in the institute. It has taken tough initiatives and prominent methods to deliver quality education in the field of engineering, but the placements are a little lower than others.

I can not understand about which exam you are trying to enquire about. I think you Jee mains, Jee advanced, All state examinations will different cutoffs in the chemical engineering branch. So I think that you should comment with information of the exam you missed

I think you are confused between the commenting of an answer and asking a new question. I assume that because you have asked the college on your cutoff but not said about your cutoff. So my suggestion is that go to that page where your question and opt for comment button. I hope this helps.

You are expected to fill up the counselling page online. So I think that you should opt for the colleges as per the preference order you have.
And on the counselling centre you will be told whether you will get college or should proceed the colleges further below your preference line.

There are very little chance for government college. Cut off varies for candidates, paper level, seat position per year.

Last year closing rank in Round 3 in CGPET in Mechanical Engineering at GEC Jagdalpur was 1404 and that in Civil Engineering at GEC Jagdalpur was 2125. So you have very low chance to get either Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering at GEC Jagdalpur.
