Hi Vijay,
At this rank, you won't get all the branches which you've mentioned in good NITs. Though you might get them in lower ranked NITs and GFTIs. As far as BITS Pilani is concerned, it doesn't take admission through JEE. It has its own exam called BITSAT.
All the best
With this rank, you have no chance of getting into MEC Thrikkakara if you are from the General category.
On the basis of last year's cutoff, the following will the closing rank for each branch the year:
1. CSE - 1800
2. EEE - 8500
3. Electronic and Biomedical Engineering - 11000
ECE - 4500
To get a better idea about MEC Thrillakara, the following link will be a great help:

Best of luck for your future!
Hi Meenakshy,
You will be able to get both MEC Thrikkara or TKM Kollam based on your rank.
If you are looking for a full-fledged college life then choose TKM because it has a larger campus and more facilities.
But, if you are looking to bag a decent placement, then go for MEC because it has higher average placement than TKM.
If placement is your Number 1 priority, go for MEC without a doubt.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!!
Hi Meenakshy,
The choice would depend upon your expectations from the college. If you are looking for a full fledged college life then go for TKM but if you are trying to land a decent placement then you must apply for MEC.
If you have any more queries then feel free to ask.
Dear aspirant!!! Congratulations on your rank but I am sorry to inform you that you won't get any branches in VIT vellore or chennai as the maximum cutoff is 45,000 and 55,000 respectively and you have less chances in amaravati and Bhopal also which are new campuses. So, I would suggest you to go for management quota to get your desired stream and campus although the fees will be higher.
Hope that helped.Thank you
Hello,
It would be much better if you could write the full form of the college you are talking about. But if you are referring to government model engineering college in Kerala then I am sorry to say that they dont take admissions on the basis of jee mains marks. They take 95% Admissions on the basis of Kerala Entrance Examination and 5% is reserved for NRIs.
Best Wishes
Hi Abhishek!! Congratulations on your rank. I would like to inform you that with your rank you have chances of getting mechanical or ECE in VIT,Amaravati or Bhopal because cutoff for vellore and chennai is much less. For more details visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff
Hope that helped.Thank you
My college is not so huge compared to other colleges. But we have great facilities such as having Idea lab, Fab lab and many more which very few colleges have. We do have our own play ground as well as basketball court but we don't have a sports faculty,we students itself train ourselves. We have a library but since technology became the centre of attraction, libraries are not used by all the students. The infrastructure maybe small but this very fact has a great advantage which is we know each other very well. We share great bond with each other.
The infrastructure may not be the highlight facet of the college, but it makes up with the fact that it is situated in a very good place, at the centre of the city of Kochi. Classrooms are great and well maintained, with WiFi available. There are football, basketball and volleyball courts for sports.
