Guru Teg Bahadur Degree College, Chhavi, is an affiliated college located in Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. The college provides admission at the under-graduate level to Arts and Science streams. The admissions are made on a merit basis, whereby candidates are selected based on performance in High School and Intermediate examinations. Annually, the admission process generally begins around August-September. Eligibility criterion primarily depends on the performance of the candidate in the 10+2 (High School and Intermediate) exams.

4. The application form should be submitted along with the following documents:

   • Mark sheets of High School (10th) and Intermediate (12th)

   • Passing certificates of High School and Intermediate

   • Character certificate from the last institution attended

   • Transfer certificate (if applicable)

   • Caste certificate (for reserved categories)

   • Recent passport-sized photographs

5. Application forms must be duly completed together with all documentation and submitted to the admission office by the deadline.

6. The college will prepare a merit list based on the marks from the qualifying exam.

7. The merit list will be published on the college notice board.

8. The selected candidates must report for document verification and deposit of fees within the stipulated time.

9. Admission fee of Rs. 15,000 needs to be paid to confirm the seat.

Degree-wise Admission Process

• B.A. - Bachelor of Arts (392 seats - Accredits admission based on merit from High School and Intermediate examination marks).

• B.Sc. - Bachelor of Science (80 seats are allotted for each of the two programs):

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics - merit based on science subjects

  • Zoology, Botany, Chemistry - merit based on biology, chemistry marks

• Merit lists for both programs are prepared considering relevant subject marks in qualifying exams.
