Haldia institute of technology is one of the best college . The minimum of 85% of the students from CSE, IT and ECE branches have been placed in various companies. But companies don't visit this college for core streams like civil, mechanical and electrical. You can choose the branches like  cse ,it and ece . The highest salary package offered was 16LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4LPA. Top recruiting companies in this  college are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. Approximately 70% of the students get a chance of internship.

1) the colleges must have at least A grade by NAAC

2) the colleges must be accredited by NBA

3) The colleges must be ranked by NIRF

On the basis of my research on these two colleges,seeing the placements record i would suggest you to go for ITER as it has offered the highest package i.e, 33lpa and the average is 6lpa whereas in haldia institute of technology the highest package offered is 25lpa and the average package offered is around 4lpa.

Talking about the faculties of ITER and haldia as well then both the Institute has pretty good and skillful faculties. Also the facilities are good and labs are fully equipped. It's just that placement record of ITER is better than HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.
