HCDSH Hazaribagh Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Hazaribag College of Dental Sciences and Hospital (HCDSH), is one of the best dental educational institutions in Hazaribag, Jharkhand. HCDSH adopts a well-developed admission procedure to ensure admission of worthy candidates to its several dental courses.

The admission process of HCDSH usually follows the national-level entrance tests for dental courses. For undergraduate courses, the college admits on the basis of the NEET scores of the present year. For postgraduate courses, the candidates need to clear the NEET MDS exam.

The Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses in HCDSH have six specializations and each has two seats. The specializations include Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, and Periodontology. Degree wise Admission Process

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery):

The admission of the BDS course in HCDSH is following the candidate's performance on the current year's National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). There are 100 seats available for this five-year undergraduate program by the college. Candidates must be who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as major subjects.

MDS (Master of Dental Surgery):

HCDSH provides MDS courses in six specializations, each for a two-seat intake. Admission to all MDS courses is the same and depends on the candidate's performance in the NEET MDS exam. 

The specializations provided are:

1. MDS Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry
2. MDS Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge
3. MDS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
4. MDS Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
5. MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology
6. MDS Periodontology

For all MDS courses, the applicants should have finished their BDS degree and passed the NEET MDS exam of the current year. The duration of each course is three years.
