The cutoff for for IBS Hyderabad is 70 percentile in CAT. But if you are focusing on IBS hyderabad only you can appear for the IBSAT exam also. It's just a qualifying exam and your allocation of an IBS campus will depend on your performance in GD/PI rounds. You can also look out for the other campuses except IBS Hyderabad. The cutoffs for those colleges are lower.
All the very best
Dear Aspirant,
This is basic as not all the student who has studied MBA want to get a job via placement and some of them get rejected by the companies so only a few of them have the ability to land a job via campus placement, not all 1200.
I hope this will solve your query.
Good luck

In terms of placements, on an average one can expect a package around 6-7 lacs per year, highest package last year was 47 lakh and it was an international Placement. Extra curriculum and clubs in the college are actually highlighting factors there. The case based approach study is really interesting and practical and it really helps you to understand the real life scenarios of business. Some of the companies which come for hiring are:

Hello Garima,
Welingkar Mumbai and ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad are both tier 2 B Schools and are a good choice if you do not crack the top 20 B-Schools in India.
When you choose a B School/University, I strongly recommend opting for its primary campus as it generally offers better placements. learning experience, better infrastructure and is often ranked better.
Both IBS Hyderabad and Welingkar Mumbai are the primary campuses of the respective B Schools.
At Welingkar, I think its marketing and finance courses are not so good, whereas IBS is known for Finance, so if you are planning to go for finance then IBS should be your choice.
You have all the info here and you need to decide and make a choice on your own.
Good luck!
Dear aspirant....!!
If you are a student of IBS Hyderabad then you will get a company to work in particular company after a procedure as a part of internship. You will be paid for a particular internship by the company besides you won't be charged any kind of fees by the institute.
Hope your query is solved!
All the best!
Why only these three colleges? None of them is that good, do you think you don't deserve better? Apply to Woxsen School of Business, Hyderabad. Compared to IBS' 1200 students, they have only 240 students, so great grooming provided to students.
They have globally acclaimed faculty members, most of them from IIMs. the placement is 100% with many students getting 2-3 offers. The average package is much higher than all the colleges you mentioned, at INR 8 lacs per annum. So Woxsen is obviously a league apart from all these colleges.
If you think of PGDM, think Woxsen.
From the moment I arrived at IBS Hyderabad, the sheer size of the 90-acre campus caught my attention. The buildings are modern, and the classrooms are generally well-equipped with projectors and sound systems. There’s also a robust Wi-Fi network that makes online research and group projects more convenient. The library—spanning multiple floors—offers an extensive collection of books, journals, and databases, which I find very helpful for case studies and assignments. However, because the campus is quite large, getting from one corner to another can be time-consuming, and some facilities (like certain hostel blocks) could use more regular maintenance
We have a very good college infrastructure like digital boards in all classrooms, lecture theatres and lecture halls. It is peaceful here as it is far away from city. Wifi is there throughout the campus except mess halls.
ICFAI has good infrastructure. They maintain high security. No one can enter without ID cards. It's is smoke free and drug free campus. They don't even allow vehicles inside the college. There is separate parking area for the student vehicles.
