If you have limited yourself to being a girl then it can be a problem to you. If you are interested in the field, if you want to work as an IES officer then you have nothing to worry about being a girl. I don't understand why there will be problems. There are IAS, IPS Female officers who are doing great in there professions. There are numerous IES officer who have become the advisors to the central Government so you should not worry about being a girl.

We all are full of potentials, only thing is we don't execute or channelize the potential in a correct way.

Hello,

I hope you are doing fine, Yes everyone who have completed their engineering and have a graduation degree can apply for Engineering services. But IES hold exams every year in four stream only

1 . Mechanical engineering

2. Electrical engineering

3. Electronics and telecommunication engineering

4. Civil engineering

So you have to choose one of stream mentioned above despite being a Computer science engineering graduate.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.

Hey aspirant!!

As you've completed the degree but maybe due to covid pandemic or your University delays, you've not received the certificate.

You can however apply for IES and show your rest semester marksheets and get admission on a provisional basis. After receiving the final marksheet or degree from your institute, you can show the particular marksheet and can pursue your dreams.

Hope this will help.

Have a great day.

Dear Student ,

Your preparation will not be depend on any institutes but only on your cleared concepts . DTU or IIIT Delhi.. both institutes will teach you the whole syllabus by every semesters , if you were asking about placement recruitments.. then this comparison may exist .. but you have to study hard and clear your concepts by solving doubts , exercise and revisions ..

Some  private coaching institutes may help you to rank better in your GATE or ESE exams .. but , you need to prepare your strategy for preparation of GATE and ESE exams .. as these exams includes some beyond syllabus subjects that you need to be study during your preparation.

Well, for your reference .. go through this two articles , these will help you to prepare for these two exams  :

Hi

Both the exams are conducted by upsc.IAS stands for Indian Administrative Forces and IES stands for Indian Engineering Services.IAS officers are employed in the administrative sector of government but IES officials deals with the technical works of government. The basic eligibility to apply for IES  is to have a graduation in engineering. BTech graduates who are in their last year of BTech can also apply for these posts. For specific posts, postgraduates from the Science stream like Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics, Radio Engineering can apply. For IAS the candidates who have passed with a degree in any discipline can apply. The process for IES consists of two stages – A written examination and a personal interview. The examination consists of two sections – an objective type section that covers general topics and a subjective type section where students have to answer essay type questions based on the particular field of engineering. To become an IAS officer, one has to clear the Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC. The examination consists of three stages – A Preliminary exam followed by the Mains exam which is followed by a Personal Interview. Both exams being the most competitive as well as hard one, you have to do your maximum and work consistently. Go through exam pattern, understand the syllabus, solve mock tests, previous year question papers etc.

Wishing you all the very best for your journey ahead.

There is no particular branch or degree that is deemed best for IES exam. If you wish to get a Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers job, for example then you need to go for Electronic and Telecom. Engineering branch.

If you are asking about Indian engineering service

Diabetes is of two types type 1 and type 2.Normally a person with type 1 diabetes have to take insulin as per the doctors advice and that too everyday. In type 2 there is no such problem you have to just maintain your diet

According their test says

The  urine  test  should  test  negative  to  sugar,  but  if  in  case  medical  board  finds  sugar  then  the  case  will  be  proceed  for  further examination. If standards of medical fitness are met then they pass candidate as fit.

If  it  is  the  case  of  Glycosuria  then  after  further  examinations  and  tests  medical  board  will  come  to  their  conclusion.  Candidate having Diabetes Mellitus is declared unfit

According to me due to this you might face problem

If you want to study in Bhopal, then yeah! IES University is good but its not the best. The best option in Bhopal is VIT Bhopal.

VIT have a very well organized curriculum such that the curriculum provides adequate skills to work in industry as well as to pursue academia. Also the faculties are very well experienced and are active in research. VIT offers a very good rate of placement about 91%.

As per the latest placement statistics, VIT BHOPAL has a very good package with median salary to be Rs. 6.5LPA to Rs. 44LPA.

Some of the top recruiters in VIT BHOPAL:

Intel, Ebay, Amazon, Dell, GE, Texas Instruments, Schneider Electric, DE Shaw & Co, Hitachi, HP, PayPal, Tata Motors, L&T, Dr. Reddy’s, Bosch, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Ashok Leyland, Honda, Ford, Global Analytics, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro and Infosys.

So if you want to go for the best then go for VIT.

As you know in civil and other core fields, the core jobs are getting less so most engineers have to shift to IT jobs as a result its highly preferable to go for a college which have a good recruitment rate.

Now IES is also a good college but its placements aren't that great compared to VIT. But apart from VIT, IES is one of the best colleges in Bhopal so you can obviously take admission and I won't say that in IES you will not get placements but as the placement rates are relatively low to VIT, you will have more chances of getting placements in VIT.
