Indo American College of Nursing, Moga Admission Process

Indo American College of Nursing, Moga, is a top nursing college in Punjab, India. It is recognized by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences and is affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to provide quality education in nursing. Indo American College of Nursing has an admission process to choose committed and capable candidates for their different nursing courses.

The college offers a student strength of 100 and faculty of 30, allowing for the most ideal student-teacher ratio to ensure individual care and counseling. The admissions are done in a transparent and fair manner following the rules laid down by the Indian Nursing Council and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The students must know that the college has three primary nursing courses, which are B.Sc Nursing (4 years), Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (2 years), and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) (4 years). The total approved admission is 130, with 40 seats in B.Sc. Nursing, 30 seats in Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and 60 seats in GNM.

Application Process

Application process at Indo American College of Nursing, Moga, generally follows the following procedure:

1. Notification: The college issues a notification announcing the commencement of the admission process in various media platforms and on the official website.

2. Application Form: Eligible applicants can obtain the application form from the college office or download the form from the official website.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: Four-year undergraduate course with approved intake capacity of 40 students. The applicants for admission to B.Sc Nursing course should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as major subjects. The shortlisting may be done on the basis of merit in the entry test and entrance examinations as specified by the state nursing council or the university.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This is a two-year program with an approved strength of 30 students. It is open to registered nurses who have completed their GNM course. The candidates must possess a valid RN/RM (Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife) registration certificate. The process of selection can be merit-based on the basis of the performance of the candidate in his/her GNM course and on other grounds as decided by the college or university.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM): Four-year diploma course with approved strength of intake 60 students. Candidates eligible to apply are 10+2 pass in any discipline (Science/Arts/Commerce). Admission is made on the basis of an entrance test and assessment of the candidate's performance at the 10+2 exam.

see the post basic b.sc nursing is a two years course. course fees varies from institute to institute. you can expect the annual course fees is 20,000- 1,00,000.

if you do it from government institute than fees are really less compare to private institute.
