College Infrastructure

Very old and bad building poor infrastructure don't recommend lack of proper labs, excessive warm temperatures during summer (lack of Air conditioners), small campus for B.tech students. Must not consider on the basis of infrastructure.

Have a question related to IERT Allahabad ?

iert entrence exam me 300 number me se kitna number lana anivary hai ganral ke liye

Hey Gaurav !

The required marks for the general category in the IERT entrance exam depend on the cutoff, which changes every year based on factors like the difficulty level of the exam and the number of candidates. However, to be on the safer side, a score of 120-150 out of 300 is usually needed to have a good chance of admission.

Hope it helps !

Hy,

To get admission into the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology (IERT) in Uttar Pradesh, the required rank can vary from year to year based on several factors, including:

  1. Number of Applicants : The total number of students applying for various courses.
  2. Course Popularity : Some engineering branches may have higher cut-off ranks due to popularity (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics).
  3. Entrance Exam Performance : Your performance in the entrance examination (like UPCET or IERT's own entrance exam) significantly affects your rank.

General Guidelines:

  • Previous Year Trends :

    • Typically, to get into more sought-after branches, you might need to aim for a rank within the top 500 to 1000, but this can vary.
    • For less popular branches, a rank beyond 1000 may still secure admission.
  • Checking Official Sources :

    • It's best to look at the previous years’ cut-off lists available on the IERT official website or contact the admissions office for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Tips for Admission:

  • Prepare for the Entrance Exam : Ensure you study effectively for the entrance exam to achieve a competitive rank.
  • Stay Updated : Keep an eye on the college's official announcements regarding cut-off ranks for various courses.

Hello,

The passing marks for IERT (Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology) exams are typically 33% to 40% for each subject. This means you need to score at least 33% to 40% of the total marks in each subject to pass the exam. However, the exact passing criteria can vary depending on the specific course and the guidelines set by the institute, so it's always a good idea to check the official rules or your course handbook for precise information.

Hope it helps !
