Hello Aspirant,

In 2019 a candidate belonging to GNAF with rank 782 secured seat in Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow in Computer Science Engineering in round 4 of counselling. Considering this you may not get seat in this college. Depending on number of seats available, difficulty of exam and number of candidates qualified etc.

wish you all luck,

hope it helps!

Hi,

Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Lucknow is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IET is affiliated to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

As per last few years data, you will definitely CSE with your OBC rank which is 1409. And since the closing ranks for CSE is the highet i any instituion, you will definitely get into any of the streams.

You have not mentioned clearly about any stream, so I think you can definitely get into IET and with CS branch.

According to previous year cutoffs you can get a seat in IET Lucknow through general girl category rank. For b.tech in CSE through general category past year's cutoffs were 193-342. For general girl category, the cut off was 266-430. As your girl category rank is 328, you can get admission in CSE department.

Hope this helps!

I would suggest you to go for IET. It has a much wider application.
All the best.  The placement is much better and exposure is of premium level.

So you can upgrade your branch to computer science engineering or information technology only after the first year exams in IET Lucknow.

And good luck for your future!

Hello

IET Lucknow is good and have a great reputation in state . Yes for IT  and cse placement is almost same . Around 70% of student get placed in cse and IT branches. Both the branches offer average salary package of around 4 lakh per annum.  Here most of the companies visiting are IT ,but cse can opt for that. Tcs ,Newgen are mass recruiter,Adobe comes but recruit only 3 to 4  students amd offers package more than 10 lpa .

Good Luck.

Hey aspirant,

Being a student of aktu i would suggest you to go for galgotias college of engineering. Don't go for a college just for the sake of government.if you are getting branches like Cs,it then you may go for it otherwise for other branches it won't be a good choice of choosing IET over Galgotias. the environment at IET lucknow won't make you feel comfortable as there is politics more.

Wheras in galgotias it's totally different, they have a good environment for students. All the classic and laboratories are well equipped.students studying there are decent and since this college has restrictions so the students are quite well mannered.

If we talk about placement statistics then The highest package offered by IET is 14lpa Wheras the average ranges around 4-5lpa.

In galgotias the highest package offered is around 25-30lpa every year Wheras the highest package offered till date is 50lpa.the average ranges around 4-7lpa.

I would suggest you to go for GCET over IET.

Rest all depends upon you.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

Hello,

IET lucknow with no doubt is the best college of affiliated to AKTU, no other college of AKTU is gives a competition to IET Lucknow.

reasons are as follows:

1. Highest cutoff

2. Government college

3. Top notch best faculty

4.Availability of scholarships for complete waiver on tuition fees for EWS.

5. Academically flexible : Only worthy subjects are taught.

6. Best location : Al coaching centres within 2km reach

7. Good placements : TCS, WIPRO, Indian Army, Merchant NAvy, Snapdeal, Honda Cars. etc.

Only problem is with infrastructure and as it is government the college authority is not much responding to student's issues.

GO FOR IET LUCKNOW

Hope this helps.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of IET Lucknow is well-equipped and efficient for students. The hostel and library amenities are reliable, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable throughout the campus. The campus is safe, and hostel entry is controlled appropriately. Classrooms have projectors and adequate seating.

Its is good

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is in shambles to tell frankly. The library has strange restrictions for taking up laptops. Classrooms and labs are okay with satisfactory and Wi-Fi connections are provided. Hostels are terrible. Food is tasteless and only one canteen is there on campus. The sports complex of college has been under construction for past few years with yet no completion in sight.

College life and academics both are good

College Infrastructure

The library is good; all books are available in our college library. There is no need to buy books from outside as the library allows borrowing books for a particular time. Classes are fully modern and clean. The computer labs are also clean, and all systems are in running condition. Wi-Fi facility is available but does not work properly.
