IET is a premier college for engineering studies in Lucknow and offers engineering courses in various branches.

The cut-off for 2019 has not been released yet so we cannot exactly predict the cut-off rank however it only varies a little bit every year so we can get a rough idea from previous years' cut-off.

To answer your question, yes you can get admission in IET Lucknow based on your SC rank, your advantage is that you are from the SC category, you will not be eligible for admission through your general rank.

From previous year data of 2018 cut-off, the cut-off rank for the SC category for branches of your interest were-

• CSE- from 2361 to 4266
• EE- from 4686 to 8020

With a general category rank of 18341 it's very tough for you to secure computer science or electrical engineering seat, but you SC category rank can easily get you one. The Central Admission Board conducted the Uttar Pradesh Engineering Entrance Exam (UPSEE) on April 21, 2019. The answer keys have been released. The candidates have to apply via the online mode by filling the application form. The candidates could also register as EWS candidates and the candidates who had already registered before March 15th were also allowed to change their category to EWS. 

As for your question, with the rank that you have, it would be very difficult to get IET, but you can get other government colleges like BIET, KNIT, etc.

you gave exam for btech lateral entry.

lateral entry cutoff/closing rank  is quite low for IET and KNIT. here are some details for lateral and for obc category:-

• IET:- for mechanical engineering :- 11-27
  
•  civil engineering :- 16-22
  
• electrical engineering:- 37-40
  
• CSE:- 32-98
  
• ECE:- 152-407
  
• chemical engineering:- 372-408
  
• EIE:- 196-475
  

it would be better for you to go for IET which is a top engineering college. KNIT has the cutoff nearly to IET.

there will be a difference of +10 or -10 only.

better go for IET.

Marks can be above 350 or above to get a good rank which will help you to take an admission in a top college like IET.

the range for CSE at IET was :- 2361-4266.

getting this rank is not easy by  marks and yes by categories and reservtions.

you have to score good enough to take an admission in IET.

• for CSE:- 29
  
• for ME:- 10
  
• For EE:- 1416
  
• for IT:- 980
  

you can check in which branch range you come and apply for counselling then.
