Sometimes a minimal processing fee might be deducted from the refund amount and that amount varies with each college , so you should better contact the administration office to know more. Regardless of this , I suggest you to carefully go through their refund policy to get a clear understanding. Anyways, you do not have to worry much because no institution is allowed to ask for full course payment after a student cancels admission, most probably you may be asked to pay the fee for that particular semester, that too if you approach them for withdrawal of admission after a given deadline according to their refund policy. Hence read about the refund policy and contact them directly regarding this issue. Also remember that no institution is allowed to withhold a students original documents under any circumstance according to governmental rule .

These both colleges are quite different.G.L Bajaj is affiliated to government university but LPU is a deemed university. G.L BAJAJ is a better option for those who don't want to go far from their native place. 

If someone wants to join LPU then it is also a good college. Placement packages of LPU are little higher but you can get a better job here also.

Ambedkar institute of technology gives admission on the basis of jee mains rank. So you need to have a valid jee mains rank to get into this college.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

If you were to go by my opinion then vignan institute of technology will be a better option than gmr because of the following reasons:-

1- Placements - It is the most important factor in any college. The average package for this colleges was around 4.6L per annum which is better than gmr.

Companies like cognizant, wipro, Deloitte, Flipkart, Adobe, Amazon comes for recruitment.

2- Infrastructure - Both the colleges have good infrastructure with all the necessary amenities inside the campus.
