Hi Meenu,

Congratulations on getting JIMS. It is among the top colleges in IPU for BBA. You must have a really good rank to have been alloted that despite being from outside Delhi. Let me know your rank so I can compare with past trends of VIPS. Ideally, you should be able to get through VIPS in the subsequent rounds of counselling. VIPS has a lot of seats for BBA.

All the best!

Hello Aspirant,

Hello Aspirant

Glad to know as you could do what many could not. As per your query, I would like you to know that there  is nothing such thing called best college. All depends on the callibre of candidate how he/she grabs the opportunities and learn from them. If you want you could wait for the second if the college you got in first round does not suits your priorities. Hope this answer helps you with your query. All the best.

Hello Aspirant,

For BCA, you should opt for IITM Janakpuri.

Their administration is good in compare to JIMS. Placements are good in well reputed organizations.

Good luck

Yes vips is the only obvious options that you would be elligible enough to vet. Your rank is fine and score must be good so its a obvious note to the self that vips would be given and even if you wish to go for jims you can even get that. There is no doubt you would be denied either of the two since your scores are well so you'll get them.

Hello aspirant!

Of course jims college there are numerous reasons behind that which I will mention in this answer first of all I would like to tell you that

Jims engineering and management technical campus is situated in greater Noida in  knowledge park

Jism is very well known for its good faculty and exposure here you can find a lot of new things to do like extra curricular activities are also here in jims ,apart of that college focuses on practical knowledge rather than bookiesh knowledge only ,alot of industrial visits after completion of 1st year

Now discuss the advantages of Jims  over Hi tech

  • The college is situated in knowledge park greater Noida which is a hub of colleges so here you can find resources easily
  • Placements are pretty good for BBA and also for some engineering branches like CS and IT
  • Faculty is good in terms of teaching methods and implementations
  • Extra curricular activities along with seminars every year
  • Fee structure is also pretty affordable

Hope it's clear now

In terms of the BJMC course, MAIT is slightly better although there is no huge difference. JIMS Vasant Kunj is more popular for its BBA Course. BBA Students here receive great packages and are in high demand. For BJMC, MAIT has a better placement cell and students have excelled here. The campus of MAIT is also better with good infrastructure.

This is the expected cutoff for jims sec 5 , you have got a good rank so there is a very chance of geeting this college.

Hello Mirza,

Your rank in IPU CET for BJMC  is great. There are many colleges affiliated to GGSIPU you may get admission in. Considering last year's cutoff VIPS would be a tough chance. You may easily get admission in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies and JIMS too.

Good Luck!

Overall I would give this college 4 stars out of 5. The Faculty is very good but the college in terms of infrastructure is a bit small. You can develop and grow your skills by participating in the college events and be a part of societies.
