There is a boys' and a girls' hostel with limited facilities. College provides a bus facility for students coming from the nearby locations, which is a good thing. There are well-equipped classrooms and labs but poorly maintained ones. There is Wi-Fi, but it is slow most of the time, and sports and recreational facilities are not adequate.
The curriculum is relatively practical but not that much. Semester exams are really tough, and you have to study lots to get good grades. The pass percentage is around 25–30%, so it is not something you can do at the last minute. You require a minimum of 70% attendance, or else you will be suspended from the course.
The average salary package was about 5.5 LPA, with the minimum of about 2.5 LPA. Most students got placed between 3 and 5 LPA. While there are some well-known companies that do come to the campus, they choose very few students, so it is highly competitive. I was also placed at Alfazance Consulting as an HR Generalist during campus placements, and now I am working as an HR Executive at HCL.
The KIET campus facilities are in general good and modern. The classrooms are air conditioned, hygienic, and projecter equipped. Wi-Fi inside the campus is good at speed . The campus location is convenient, and facilities such as ATMs, hostels, and transport are present.
The professors in the MBA program are experienced, well-qualified, and industry expertized along with academic experienced. The exam is taken three times two mid-terms and the final term, and internal tests also held regularly.
I am studying MBA in KIET Ghaziabad, and I can say that the placement situation is very good here. Last year, about 85–90% of the students were placed from our batch. The average deal was about ₹7.5–8 LPA, and the median deal was about ₹6 LPA. The maximum package given was about ₹16 LPA. Companies visiting regularly are Tata Power, ICICI Bank, HDFC Life, Britannia, and Byju's.
The buildings at KIET are properly maintained and student oriented. The university library comes with self-study spaces added, perfect for individual study and project work. cafeterias are situated across the campus, offering a range of food at reasonable prices.
The course syllabus is modern and industry-oriented, and the university conducts workshops and seminars occasionally to make the students aware of market trends and needs.tye curriculum is based as per the AKTU guidelines which is industry-oriented.
The top package was about ₹17 LPA and the average about ₹9 LPA. Top companies come to campus in large numbers each year — predominantly mid-tier companies like Square Yards, Just Dial, FinEdge, and PolicyX. The college also offers internships, but students can work with major companies only in limited number. I was lucky to secure an internship in Flipkart and, on the basis of performance, I became their full-time Senior Executive.
The library is big and full of resources, and practice facilities are excellent for practical classes. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided to the students throughout the campus. The classrooms are neat and well-equipped with smart teaching equipment.
The requirements of the industry are kept in mind while designing the curriculum, particularly in fields such as marketing, finance, and data analytics. The teachers are friendly, competent, and experienced.
85% of the students being placed last year. The highest offer a student received was approximately ₹18 LPA, and the lowest was approximately ₹6 LPA. Among the prominent recruiters were local organizations such as FinEdge, Vectus Industries, Hindustan Wellness, and Daffodil Software.
The campus has lots of greenery, Hostel area is comfortably within modest prices with attached bathrooms, Canteen food is delicious and served at very reasonable prices, overall the environment is really amazing for the students as all the required facilities are available.
The staff is very cooperative, well-qualified, and well-versed in their field of specialization. They make learning interactive and concentrate on practical knowledge beyond the books. The quality of teaching is excellent, and the curriculum of the course is industry-oriented, thereby making the students industry-ready.
The college provides placements to nearly 90% of students studying the MBA course every year through campus placement. The maximum package provided last year was 18 LPA, and the average package was 8 to 9 LPA. The college has a decent list of recruiting companies such as KPMG, HUL, Maruti Suzuki, and certain upcoming startups.
The infrastructure at KIET is excellent. One of the grand buildings is the library, and it is not only spacious but also comes with an online access facility. The special login ID and password are given to all students to browse online sources like journals, case studies, and research articles at any moment.
The teaching is interactive, and the faculty ensures that the students apply theories to real-world industry scenarios. The course material is industry-based and corporate-ready and entrepreneurial-ready as well.
The average package given was nearly ₹8 LPA. The highest package was ₹18 LPA. The lowest package was nearly ₹5 LPA. Placements were mostly conducted through campus interviews. Axis Bank, HCL Technologies, ITC Limited, and Policybazaar have visited the campus. The college also offers internship placements, and most of the students gained internships in medium-sized organizations, although some were offered placements in large organizations.
The library is huge with a good collection of management books, journals, and online material. But Wi-Fi is limited to faculty and admin personnel, which is slightly inconvenient for students. The hostel charges are expensive, but the accommodation is tolerable. Food at the canteen is economical and clean.
The professors are friendly, helpful, and have corporate exposure, with the majority having a corporate background. They are highly approachable and explain things in terms of examples, industrial visit and seminar are also held for the students.
The maximum package that was given was approximately ₹12 LPA by WhiteHat Jr, whereas the minimum was ₹3 LPA by small organizations. The average package is approximately ₹5–6 LPA based on specialisation.
The campus facilities are excellent and well laid out. Despite the occasional network problems here and there, the campus is well laid out. There is plenty of greenspace, and the walkways give it the feel of a real academic campus instead of a line of buildings.
The professors are actually amazing. They all are extremely knowledgeable and don't lecture, but instead genuinely try their best to make you grasp the fundamentals. Special mention to our marketing and economics professors, who always relate theory with practical examples.
The average salary of an MBA student is around ₹8–10 LPA, and the highest of this year was almost ₹24 LPA. The best thing about this college is that they don't leave you to your fate placement cell is very active and helpful.
The campus is very spacious and provides you with ample space to live college life. Though the overall infrastructure is not excellent, it is well maintained and functional. The campus extends over a good amount of area, has a dispensary, and all the MBA classrooms are air-conditioned with good seating arrangements.
Faculty here is very warm. All the professors are cooperative, friendly, and are expert in their respective fields. They themselves motivate you to participate in academic, cultural, and placement events. Although some teachers are strict and serious about rules, they are still decent and are reachable.
On the placement front, everything is okay. The highest package this year for the MBA batch was around ₹12 LPA, and the lowest has been around ₹3 LPA. Average placements are okay if you belong to the Marketing or the HR specializations.
The campus infrastructure of MBA at KIET is clean and fairly new. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the whole academic block, and internet facility is consistent. Labs and classrooms have air conditioning, projectors, and seating arrangements.
Teachers regularly provide quizzes, case studies, and presentations to keep the students focused. They're also extremely helpful when it comes to arranging or facilitating students in seminars, workshops, and fests.
The salary band lies between ₹2.5 LPA and ₹14 LPA with the median being approximately ₹3.4 LPA. Regular recruiters in previous campus recruitment processes include ICICI Bank, Axis Securities, Berger Paints, and Byju's.
KIET Ghaziabad and JIIT Noida are both good private engineering colleges. But JIIT Noida is a little better in terms of placements, especially for Computer Science and IT branches.
JIIT Noida gets more big companies like Amazon, Adobe, and other product-based companies. The average package in JIIT for CSE is around 7 to 8 lakh rupees per year. Some students also get very high packages above 20 lakh. KIET also has good placements, but the average package is slightly lower, around 5 to 6 lakh per year.
The campus of JIIT Noida is modern and clean. KIET has a bigger campus and more hostel space. JIIT is stricter in academics. KIET follows AKTU university syllabus.
So if you want better job placements, JIIT Noida is slightly better. If you want a bigger campus with good facilities and lower fees, then KIET is also a good choice.

Dear student,
Yes, you can use your EWS category rank for admission to KIET Ghaziabad through UPTAC counselling , as seats are allotted based on category ranks for reserved candidates.
Now, about your chances:
With an
EWS rank of 1,30,638
, getting
ECE at KIET
is
highly unlikely
. In recent years, the
closing EWS rank for ECE
at KIET has been around
35,000 to 40,000
. If you’ve seen a closing rank like
347,725
, that might actually be the
CRL
, not the EWS rank. Category cutoffs are always much lower.
