LIBA Chennai Facilities

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai offers several infrastructural facilities for its students and staff members. The facilities available at Loyola Institute of Business Administration are a library, sports, cafeteria, auditorium, medical clinic, Wi-Fi, classrooms, bank and many more. LIBA has separate hostels, for men and women, located within the campus and the hostels are equipped with well-furnished rooms.

Facilities and infrastructure at LIBA Chennai form an integral part of the institute and help in the overall development of the students. There is a central library at the institute, which has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines and e-books. LIBA Chennai sports facilities include a huge playground for the students to play cricket, basketball, volleyball and many more to maintain physical fitness.

Boys Hostel
The hostels are very comfortable for the accommodation of outstation students. Loyola Institute of Business Administration boys hostel facilities include air-conditioned rooms with attached washroom, refrigerator, washing machine, free wi-fi, and mess. Medical assistance is also provided.
Girls Hostel
There are also hostel facilities available for girls. LIBA Chennai girls hostel facilities include all basic amenities including furniture and appliances. A separate mess is also there. Students can avail free internet facility in the entire hostel.
Medical/Hospital
Loyola Institute of Business Administration has an on-campus medical clinic. 24X7 medical facility is available for the students and staff members.
Library
The library has a spacious hall for reading and is fully computerised and is enabled with wi-fi. Loyola Institute of Business Administration library facilities include books, journals, magazines, e-books, online databases like EBSCO, ClaOnline, Magzter.com, e-brary, thesis, CDs, VCDs, and many more for preparation of exams, assignments and research purposes. The library also has intranet database by CMIE. The library is open seven days a week.
Sports
There are various indoor and outdoor games available in the college sports department. Separate fields and courts are maintained especially for outdoor games.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has a well-maintained IT infrastructure and provides good networking in the entire campus.
Cafeteria
Loyola Institute of Business Administration cafeteria facilities include well-ventilated spacious hall, where hygienically prepared fresh meals are served.
Auditorium
The college has a huge auditorium with an accommodation capacity of a large audience. The auditorium is used for organising events and seminars.

Wifi
The entire campus is enabled with wi-fi. Students and faculty members can access the facility for free.
Banks/ATMs
There is a bank facility available in the campus. 24X7 ATM service is also available.
Classrooms
All classrooms and lecture halls are well-furnished. LIBA Chennai classroom facilities include air-conditioners, audio-video systems and wireless internet connection.

College Infrastructure

The smart classrooms, well-equipped library, computer labs, and Wi-Fi-enabled campus enhance the learning experience. The auditorium, discussion halls, and incubation center support student development. Additionally, sports facilities, a fitness center, and a modern cafeteria ensure a vibrant campus life.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of this college is great. It's a new building and a we'll build beauty for sure. There's a cricket ground in front of the building and as it is inside the Loyola campus the place is filled with greenary. So it's beautiful.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college campus and hostel is quite good and very maintained. The college campus has all necessary facilities like labs, library, canteen, sports ground etc. Which can be easy accessible by the students. The hostel has good facilities. The food in the hostel mess is made with proper hygiene. The food in good to eat.

I have a higher sectional cut off than expected by LIBA, but my overall percentile is 77.27. Will I get a call from LIBA?

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

There are two exams through which you can take admission in LIBA and the exams are CAT, XAT. You haven't mentioned in which exam you scored 77.27 percentile. I am assuming if you scored this in CAT then the chances are less that you get a call because the cut off generally goes around 80 percentile and if you scored this in XAT then there are some chances but I am not sure that you are gonna get a call from LIBA because XAT cut off usually goes 1-2 percentile below CAT.

Tapmi vs great lakes vs liba which is better

TAPMI may have a slightly higher reputation being a constituent of Manipal University, I believe Great Lakes has a huge locational advantage being located near IT, Corporate and Finance Hubs of Chennai and nearby Bengaluru will provide greater career scope and prospects to training and placements. Hence, you may consider Great Lakes over TAPMI and LIBA.
