modern facilities include well equipped labs, a comprehensive library, comfortable hostels, a sports complex, digital classroom , and wifi across campus. the campus also features a spacious auditorium, medical facilities, and a cafeteria, ensuring a conducive environment for for both academic and recreational activities.
mits offers diverse, industry relevant programs with highly qualified faculty. the curriculum emphasizes both practices and theoretical knowledge, supported by research opportunities and expert lectures.
mits has an active placement cell with top recruiters like TCS And INFOSYS. it offers high placement rates, competitive salaries, and ample internship opportunities with leading companies. the institute's strong industry connections ensure students receive comprehensive career support and guidance.
affordable tuition with options for scholarships, strong placement outcomes provide a good return on investment.
vibrant campus with cultural and technical fests, various student clubs, and regular extracurricular activities. support services include counseling and mentorship programs.
Alumni network: strong and supportive alumni network. Location: well connected campus in gwalior. Extracurricular: regular workshops, seminars, and guest lectures. Sefety: secure environment with 24/7 security.
The infrastructure is quite good . The departments are working very efficiently. All the facilities are provided to increase our knowledge and experience. The labs are equipped with latest equipment. The canteen is properly organized with quality and hygienic food. the campus is clean and full of greenery.
I'm studying B.tech in IOT in electrical department. The mentors are PHD scholars and are very supportive towards research and doing welfare to students. The curriculum is in very structured format and is given well in advanced for the preparation. It is also up to date and helpful in gaining overview of the technologies included in the syllabus.
The placement cell is not up to the mark . It is not supportive and interactive enough so that the student get to know about the companies boarding on campus. There is a communication issue which is faced by the students with the placement cell.
The course is worth it but not completely as system is not coordinated well . The strength is not enough in regular classes which is the main reason of course not explained in proper way. The practical exposure is not up to the level.
There are many clubs in the college which conduct activities on regular basis to keep the students engaged. Also, there are many sports events which are happening to boost the inner passion in students. Even there are many workshops by the top colleges and companies.
Many people don't know about the college because of less marketing. ROI of this college is very good for which one can prefer this college to other colleges present in the same league. Faculties are highly experienced. One can get good industry exposure by working in so many projects offered to the students. The dorm life is fun and the college administration takes special interest in ensuring that students co-curricular and extra-curricular exposure is at par with the best colleges around. Campus is huge and scenic, that too at the heart of the city. Placement can be best described as Average at this point, but it is slowly improving with more of the alumni rising into prominence in the corporate world.
Academics is good but as in every college you have to learn by yourself. You have regular classes. In 1 and 2 year good number of students join the classes so the facilities teach really well but in 3 and final year students don't attend that much classes.
The placement scenario is average of the college but I would suggest you to not depend on college for placement. Prepare on your own and apply of campus because there you get better exposure and learning experience and scope.
The value
the college does not have all the necessary facilities and equipments. the classrooms are all over good but can be made better. as for the libraries its not as equiped and big. the living spaces are clean and hygienic and as for the canteen the food is not so great.
i am a computer science student and i am studying it as it is preferably a great domain and has great scope in the future. the teaching quality is not bad. its good. the curriculum includes the recent upgrades and developments but i cant be sure whether it makes you job ready.
the quality of placements has not been that great at the college in the past. i think around 70 percent of students were placed in the last placement session. the average salary offered was 5-6 LPA. the college seemed quite supportive to the seniors during the placement process.
the course costs 34k in the even semesters and around 60k in the odd semesters. and for the whole year it costs around 2 lakhs. i do not feel i am getting the worth of my money. As the college faculties dont help the students to keep up with the recent job trends.
the best feature about the college campus is its greenery. they have a lot of plants and the atmosphere is usually calm. as for the crowd its not as such great. if you want to grow on a personal level or want to seek any personality development then the crow aint really a great place as there are very few and repetetive extra activites.
its a decent college but i would always recommend you to seek for a better place. as this place right now itself is trying to become great.
MITS Gwalior is a poor college in terms of infrastructure. The college lags important and necessary facilities like proper Wi-Fi coverage, Canteen and sports area. Library is available but that too has a very limited pool of books.
I had completed my Bachelor of engineering in mechanical engineering in the year 2018. The overall experience of academics was not good. The college is affiliated to RJPV. The curriculum was updated a long time ago.
The quality of placements is very poor from MITS Gwalior. Almost all the students enrolled try for off campus placements or through referrals. The college provide no assistance in placements process or skill development.
Very nice University . When I came here when I was In first year . I was really scared how these University will be . It would not be my waste of money but theses make it false . These University and it's infrastructure is really amazing .
The teachers here are really appreciative . The way they work for there job and for the students is non other than these University can provide . They all are really friendly in nature and very helpful to it's students .
The placement of our university is always on top . These year the highest package is ongoing is 17 lpa . These is really good for any university to provide it . Most of my friend are placed , even I got the placement of 6.5 lpa .
College infrastructure is good with the applicable facilities at the classrooms are also good all the things are well maintained we are having a good liability in campus and living spaces are clean and our campus is not having hosted facilities now
As currently I am pursuing B Tech in electronic engineering and the quality of teaching is good and we are being updated with all the recent things which makes us ready to sit in placement types at it companies
placement quality is an average in my college as the placement drives take place there is a placement sale but they need to be focused more upon it and rehearsed to get good packages from those drives and college supportive in the placement
My college is good in infrastructure and also available with the equipment in laboratories and having a good sports facility and they all are used in well maintained spacious are good to sit having beautiful gardens in campus
As the quality of teaching is an average the faculty are not being focused upon taking classes they provide us the normal basic knowledge and VR expecting more from them so there is also some lack of faculty in department
As I already mentioned the faculties not up to date so the placement sale is also not working too much upon it and they are just having this limited number of companies visited every year for placement drives me expect more in college I have to focus on these things
For me it's just an average money worth
Yes I am enjoying my campus life with my maids and making memories with them and my college situated very good location.
College infrastructure is well maintained even it was established in 1957 then also it is well maintained , now we are going to new building for AI mean developement is going on and good classrooms , libraries , sport centre and hostel all things are good but laboratories are not good as their is less equipment we have to share with the four or five and sometime available material are also not working
I am studying artificial intelligence and robotics due to keen interest in doing something special in the field of robotics by integrating with ai . The quality of teaching is good but some teachers are outdated
The quality of placement is not good after the recession period. But some student crack google, Amazon and so on . The placed percentage is less don't know perfect stats. average salary offered for cs or it is 6.5 lpa . yes placement process easy for me . ya my college is supportive
my course cost is 113000 for 1st year then 86k per year. YA i feel it is worth it because i have seen even worst situation than my college .
my college have good infrastructure, faculty, sports ground, placements but laboratory with less utensils. behavior of students and teacher is good. Now ragging not happens. The location of college is also good from railway it is 1 km and around the campus all thing are available like nearby stores are available. it is a safe area.
no
yes, it has everything from smart laboratories to the best computer labs . there is an open gym inside the campus and 1 canteen and 3 mini stalls food quality is average but in the last 4 months they have been serving the best quality food at a reasonable price.
there is no such issue of 75 percent attendance and u can pass the exams just by studying one week before the exams. professors are chill and calm but some are just exceptions. Overall u can give more time to your skills professors are supportive.
the average package for ECE is 6 Lpa if u have enough potential u can crack up to 14 LPA from on campus.almost 70 percent student got placed who sit for placements. in Cse the percentage is around 85 .
if u want to focus on your skills and want no intrupption from college end then u can go with it.the overall fees is around 130000 per year. for first year and from second year it is around 90000.
the seniors are quite supportive and the coding culture is good in mits so u can get a good campus life there.it is safe for girls There are no such issues of ragging.
The admission process for MITS Gwalior, like most NITs and private engineering institutions, is based on the rank obtained in the JEE Main exam, and the cutoffs for various branches and categories can vary each year. Based on your CRL rank of 725784 and your Gen EWS rank of 91098, getting admission into MITS Gwalior in popular branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering may be difficult, especially for the general category, given the typically high demand for these branches.
Here’s a breakdown:
CSE (Computer Science Engineering) :
CSE is one of the most sought-after branches at any institution, and the cutoffs for this branch are usually very high. With your CRL and Gen EWS ranks, securing a seat in CSE might be a challenge, especially if you are competing with candidates from all over the country.
Mechanical Engineering :
Mechanical Engineering is also a popular branch, but the cutoff ranks tend to be lower than CSE. However, your rank might still be higher than the typical cutoff for this branch in MITS Gwalior, even with home state quota.
Civil Engineering :
Civil Engineering typically has a slightly lower cutoff compared to CSE and Mechanical Engineering, which may increase your chances of getting a seat. If you are considering this branch, you might have a better chance of admission, but it will still depend on the exact cutoff trends for that year.
Home State Quota (Madhya Pradesh) :
Home state quota may provide some relaxation in cutoffs, but the competition is still intense, and cutoffs are subject to fluctuation each year. The home state quota can help reduce the rank required, but your CRL rank will still play a significant role.
Conclusion : While it is unlikely to secure a seat in highly competitive branches like CSE at MITS Gwalior with your current ranks, you may have better chances in Civil Engineering with the home state quota. It's crucial to check the official cutoff trends for the current year through the official JoSAA website or MITS Gwalior’s counseling details for more accurate information.
I recommend you keep an eye on the official counseling updates and consider other options as well to ensure a broader range of opportunities. Good luck!
With an 86 percentile (rank 195589) in JEE Main, you are likely to be able to get admission to Madhav Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Gwalior, but potentially for less competitive B.Tech programs. Specifically, you might have a good chance at programs like B.Tech in Information Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, or Computer Science and Design, as these programs had closing ranks in the 130,000-150,000 range in 2024 for the general category.
