Hello,
Overall it is an average college with decent placements. Faculty is average. Crowd is good. Location is bad . It is 7kms from nearest metro station. Limited active societies.
Placements and job opportinities are quite limited. Alot of companies visit in the segment 3-6 LPA. There are 5-6 companies in the range 6-10 LPA. There are very few companies on canpus that had a CTC above 10LPA. There is no opportunity provided by college for internship.
Mait is overall a nice college. It would offer you the same opportunities like the govt colleges if you have talent and ambition. There are huge pile of examples of people who have been placed brilliantly through mait.
Hope this helped.
Good luck!
Hey,
Both of the colleges you provided are amazing and have great placements. The faculties too are equally good.
Well i am providing you with a link below which will help you to compare both the colleges based on different parameters like ranking, courses, placements, faculty and more -

I would say if u r resident of delhi go for MAIT as its one of the best and top most college in IPU with excellent placement records in all streams and good faculty and environment.let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts
hope you find it helpful
thansk
Good Luck!
Hello Jon snow, if you want to choose between INSTITUTE of engineering and technology, and MAIT (indraprastha University), then i will prefer IPU over IET, as IPU gives the quality studies and also had a good placement records. So you better go with MAIT(IPU).
Hi there
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Rohini, Delhi - MAIT is a better option.
Placements in the college are average, and students are offered an average salary package of 3-4.5 LPA. However, the highest salary package offered is around 15 LPA by Microsoft. Placement opportunities offered for the CSE and IT branches are good, but the placements of core branches are not that good. Some societies help the students gain good skills to grab good placements opportunities.
The infrastructure of the college is good, but the campus is small. There are very good amenities, and there is very good connectivity between different blocks. The hostel facility is provided only for boys and not girls. However, many PGs are available outside the college. Gym facility is available for boys. A tennis court is available in the college.
Teachers in our college are very helpful and cooperative, but as everybody knows, the education system followed in every college is not that good. Some teachers are rude and not cooperative. However, most of them are very helpful and solve students' problems very efficiently.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Dear candidate.... hope you're doing good..
Well, both mechanical engineering and ECE have good scope and job opportunities in the near future. But it's upto your interest and desire to choose which branch as per your convenience because both have different courses and aspects and according you have to prepare.
Hope this helps you out...
All the best:)
Hi Tej,
First of all you really sorted all the ranks out which is really amazing and i myself am a student in IPU so let me tell you supposedly if 4400 people are ahead of you not all of them intend to take admission as it happens all the time. Also this is the first time IPU is taking admission through JEE Mains rank so there is not much too expect to be honest. But if you have a Delhi Quota then it will really help. I think you should be able to get MAIT or BVP but what branch you'll get, is something not very clear. Wait for the stages of counselling to unfold to get a better picture of the situation.
Good Luck !!
The college infrastructure is decent and well-maintained. Classrooms do not have ACs, but labs are equipped. It is situated quite far, on the outskirts of Rohini. There is no nearby market or hangout places. College fests and events are horrible.
The infrastructure is very good. The college provides fully AC classrooms, good lab facilities, multi storied library, and multiple grounds and canteens for students. The space and the campus is neat and clean and the food in all the canteens are hygienic.
Good infrastructure, there are 11 blocks in total with 8 for technology department, 9th block is for management courses which is called maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Management Studies, then 11th blocks is for MABS for business courses overall good
