The classrooms are decent and mostly well equipped with projectors and smart boards but some of the classrooms do not have any modern facilities. Facilities like water coller, Washrooms, auditoriums and seminar halls are in good condition.
The faculty members are qualified, and some of them have a postgraduate degree, while a few of them are undergoing their Ph.D. Teachers assist the students even for their personal problems. The program is prepared to cover computer fundamentals, programming, and database system.
Placements of BCA at MIT Meerut do not look good as they are subpar. Not more than 25–30% of students are able to secure jobs through the campus drives. The best salary that was offered is about 3.5 LPA while the average salary remains to be almost 2 LPA which is not very encouraging.
For management students, the college has a good number of classrooms equipped with projectors, a not so big but well-rounded library, and also computer labs. There are also hostels located almost nearby, in the campus area, equipped with basic amenities such as beautifully furnished rooms, hot water and housekeeping services.
The faculty members are always willing to help and are easy to approach. Some of the faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees, and have done research besides having an industry background. For BBA students industrial visits are also planned in every semester.
The average package is 3.5-4 LPA. Some of the firms that came for campus recruitment are Vardhman Textiles, JK Cement, Axis Securities, and Hindware, which are mainly recruiting at the entry-level positions in sales, HR, and operations.
The college infrastructure is nothing special. The classrooms are big enough and they have projectors, but the Wi-Fi is superb and is therefore fast most of the time. The cafeteria provides basic food, and the medical facilities are minimal.
The faculty members are good and knowledgeable, though the majority of their teaching methods are quite traditional. They do it by giving students the required study material for exams and they do so, as a part of their career guidance, but the real exposure to practice is very limited.
The percentage of the batch that got placed is between 30 and 40. The highest package was around 5 LPA, and in contrast, the average package ranged between 3 and 4 LPA. Many students didn't get any campus placement and had to look for off-campus jobs.
The classrooms are in good condition, the library is good for academics, and the campus has parks and open areas that provide a nice environment. Overall, the infrastructure is manageable but still has some places where it can improve.
The UGC-approved course is very well planned for BBA students, and the current business environment is taken into consideration while designing the course structure, the fee structure is also quite reasonable. The level of exams is moderate, but with regular preparation, it becomes easy to pass.
Placement is not very excellent for BBA students at MIT Meerut. The placement cell does attempt to bring down the companies, but there is limited success resulting in a handful of students being placed. but college organize mock interview for practice.
The infrastructure of the college is acceptable. The condition of the classrooms in the college is decent, but they are not properly maintained and sometimes lack even basic facilities like fans in summer. Wi-Fi is available, but it is limited in use and not very reliable. On the other hand, the canteen is quite good and has a wide variety of snacks.
Faculty at the college are a mixed bag. While some teachers are consistent and try to do the syllabus, others are wavering in their lectures. Not all professors are very qualified but they do make an effort to complete the syllabus on time.
The top salary package was reported to be nearly 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was 1.8 LPA. The average package remained between 2.2 and 2.5 LPA. A few companies from the local market belonging to sales, education services, and small finance firms as were the visitors, but there was not a single well-known brand.
MIT has good infrastructure. In the campus, classrooms, computer lab, and library are available to cater to the academic needs. Wi-Fi facilities are also available within the campus and these facilities have made online learning and project work feasible. However, there is a big drawback with the hostel facilities
The faculty at MIT consists of very competent and well-qualified people. a good number of the teachers have and superb studies background and are very helpful to students when it comes to doubt clarification and exam preparation.They always give out some additional study materials along with the guidance before the semester exams.
A small percentage of the total students earn job offers every year, and the salaries offered are not so high. It is normal that the package is around ₹1.5–2 LPA, while the highest package in the past couple of years is reported to be around ₹4–5 LPA. A few companies belonging to the IT services sector and start-ups do come to the campus to hire but still, most of the students are required to explore the job market themselves.
The MBA block is equipped with big classrooms fitted for projectors, seminar halls, and computer labs with up-to-date systems. The hostel is comfortable and affordable and has Wi-Fi and medical facilities that are available at all times.
The course syllabus is updated according to the current needs of the industry and also involves real-life projects. The faculty members are also the people who guide us in our applications for placements and internships, which helps us to get prepared and be confident when facing corporate challenges.
About 85–90% of the students get placed. The highest salary package that was given recently was close to ₹12 LPA, while the average package is between ₹4–6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Asian Paints, Berger Paints, Deloitte, Genpact, ITC Limited, Axis Bank, and Jaro Education. Besides, almost every student is also given an internship opportunity, and it plays a crucial role in making us prepared for the industry.
The infrastructure is average. The college has a library, computer labs, and classrooms but they are all quite basic and not very modern. There is a large playground for outdoor activities, which is good. The canteen is okay but it could be better with respect to the variety of food.
The faculty members are very supportive and cooperative. Most of them are competent and their teaching methods are simple and easy to understand. They maintain a formal teaching mode but at the same time do not hesitate to make the students feel comfortable in class.
Most students are required to find their jobs and internships by themselves. Though the college gives out some internship opportunities, they are very less in number. A few companies like Tech Mahindra, NIIT, and some local IT firms have come in the past; however, the salary packages were not appealing.
MIT has a decent infrastructure, you can find Wi-fi classrooms, a good library with management-related books, and computer labs for practice. The campus can also be described as having a canteen, sports ground, and an auditorium for cultural activities.
The teachers organize the students for the participations of discussions and presentations which is an apt way of confidence building. The level of examination is medium and one will be able to clear it with the help of regular studies.
Only 10–15% of students are able to secure job opportunities via campus drives conducted by the college. The companies that come for recruitment are mostly local firms and small-scale businesses, and thus, no big corporate recruiters are seen.
The infrastructure of MIT is excellent. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the campus, and the labs are well-equipped for practical classes. The library contains a broad range of books on programming and IT courses. Hostel facilities are acceptable, but as everywhere, mess food is not great.
The teachers are adequately qualified, with most having pursued higher studies from some of the top institutes. Their method of teaching is relatively more conventional, but they do discuss topics extensively.
Most hiring is for entry-level positions like software developer, web developer, and technical support engineer. Opportunities for internships are less, so students must arrange them on their own. Overall, placements are decent and students need to work a bit hard outside the campus to get better placements.
