MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Malappuram, is an AICTE-approved college offering a broad spectrum of engineering and pharmaceutical courses. The college possesses a well-defined procedure for admitting the meritorious students to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The process of admission at MGM College of Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences is mostly national-level and state-level entrance tests. The college provides admission through marks in Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM) for B.Tech courses. KEAM takes place mostly during April or May every year, and the date may be changed annually.
Minimum qualifications for Under Graduate programmes are passing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is generally required for most courses, although individual cut-offs may differ depending on the course and competition.

For B.Tech programs:

For M.Tech courses:
1. Qualify the GATE test with a high score.

3. Attend interview or counseling, if arranged by the college.
4. Complete admission formalities if selected.
For B.Pharma and D.Pharma programs:
1. Apply according to the given admission procedure for pharmacy programs in Kerala.
2. Attend counseling process if shortlisted.
3. Complete college admission process if there is an available seat.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: MGM College provides different B.Tech streams such as Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Cyber Security. All the above streams have admissions based on KEAM scores. Total seats in all the streams in MGM College are 180, with the highest intake being Computer Science and Engineering with 60 seats.
M.Tech: M.Tech programs in Construction Engineering and Management, Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI Design, and Applied Electronics and Communication System are offered by the college. Admissions are usually made on the basis of valid GATE scores. The total intake for M.Tech programs is 45 seats, of which 18 seats are for Construction Engineering and Management and Computer Science and Engineering each.
B.Pharma and D.Pharma: The college has Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programs. Both the programs have a student intake capacity of 60. The courses can be admitted either through state-level pharmacy entrance tests or on the basis of merit.
Diploma Courses: MGM College also conducts diploma courses in different engineering disciplines like Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. Intake students for each diploma course are 30.
