    Integrated M.Tech in Bioengineering

    Valid score in MH-CET/ NEET/JEE Main (Paper I)/ PERA/ CET.

    M.Tech Environmental Bioengineering

    Bachelor’s Degree in BE/ BTech Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Ceramic Technology / Mechanical / Metallurgy / Civil Engineering / Mining Engineering / Biochemical Engineering / Biotechnology / Instrumentation Engineering, or other allied Engineering Branches is required.

    M.Sc Industrial Biotechnology

    B.Sc Degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology or other allied Science branches with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent.

    PhD Biotechnology

    Candidates from Science and Technology backgrounds seeking admission to the PhD Programme, whether full-time or part-time, shall have to possess the requisite percentage of marks/ grade point average in the qualifying examination.


    Or


    For candidates with M.Sc. qualification: The required minimum qualification for admission to a PhD programme shall be a two-year Master’s or M.Phil degree in the relevant field.


    Or


    She/ he must have obtained either a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent Grade in the M.Phil. degree or in the Master’s Degree (for all disciplines except Engineering and Technology). In addition, overall 60% at all academic levels will be desirable.


    Or


    For candidates with M.Tech./B.Tech. qualification: Applicants with M. Tech/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.S. qualification in relevant disciplines with excellent academic records with minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks and with 60% aggregate in Xth, XIIth and B.Tech. /B.E. will be considered eligible for admission to PhD Programmes.

    Candidates with an MBBS/ BDS degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline with an excellent academic record with a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent or 55% marks may be considered eligible for admission to the PhD programme in the relevant field.

    A hospital is available in campus.Labs and classrooms were amazing. Hostel rooms were a bit small but adequate. Dual rooms in the first year were more entertaining to be honest.Food Is not bad . sometimes it's average.

    A good option for pursuing bioeng. with a great campus.

    The Facilities at mit SBSR are one of it's major highlights.There are well maintained and well equipped labs for a variety of subjects.The sports facilities at the campus are one of the best in the state with centres for almost all sports.

    Candidates appearing for the PERA CET exam should have a thorough understanding of the syllabus to have a good preparation strategy. The question paper for the undergraduate entrance exam will be based on the 12th std syllabus. Therefore the candidate should a good understanding of this and need to prepare accordingly. It is comparatively less tougher than JEE Mains and BITSAT.
