Hi

You will have to enquire about this in both the colleges. Mithibai allows cancellation but before that make sure you got confirmation from somaiya that they are taking you in ( if your name was in merit list and the admission date is not over) and you need documents too that you have submitted in mithibai for admission that you will get only after cancellation. Once you are sure of a seat in somaiya should you proceed for the cancellation process in mithibai. Enquire with them about the process and other details they have the final say.

The link for application is given below

Hope this helps!

Hello,

Mithibai College doesn't allow transfer of admission for B.Com candidates in second year. The only option you have is to drop out from the college, take TC and then get admission in any fresh college and the consequences for that would he wastage of 1 year. Also there are very less college that accept migration admission. So, i would suggest you to have patience and manage whatever time available and put in your preparation for CA or else drop and take admission in any other college if you are willing to waste one year.

I hope this helps.

Hello student,

Since its foundation in 1961, Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science, and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous) have been envisioned as a destination for the most brilliant and promising students. The college includes 32 departments, 16 of which are postgraduate and 10 of which provide Ph.D. programmes. It has long advocated for an admissions process that favours deserving students regardless of their financial circumstances. The academic year 2018-19 has been marked by several achievements, including the University of Mumbai's BEST COLLEGE AWARD. INDIA TODAY RANKING Science and Commerce faculty is ranked first, followed by Arts faculty. Mithibai College has also been awarded Rs.1.5 crores in funding from the Indian government's DST-FIST and DBT-Star College programmes. This year is also significant. Without an actual inspection by an expert committee, the UGC has granted Grade 1 AUTONOMY for a term of ten years. It is a private , autonomous college with 22 courses.

Hope this helps!

Hello,
The cutoff for this course is generally between 90-91 percentage. Considering your marks you have a chance of getting a seat in mithibai college for BMS. Cutoff varies every year. But it won't vary with a difference of much percentage. so just hope for the best.
In NM college you will have to wait for the second merit list you'll have chances in that.
Both the colleges are reputed and having good academics.
