Well sir, due to sir mistake and also his negligence of correcting that mistake when the portal was open for makeing a correction, now your son would be cosidered as an unlucky general candidate.

With this percentile, he has not able to qualify the JEE mains CRL rank and hence his chances of getting a seat at NIT/IIIT are extremely less.

I would recommend you to now opt for different counseling such as JAC, PEC or state engineering colleges and there make sure you fill the OBC option

Hi ! You got a good rank on your category. I think you may get nit Trichy but don't expect good branches such as CSE, ECE , and electrical too. Congratulations on qualifying IIT-JEE assuming you had qualified. So If You Have Qualified 75 percent Criteria then there is no Need To satisfy top 20 percentile. Both of them are options that you need to satisfy One of them To be eligible for admission in NITs,IITs and GFTIs.
