hello Bhargav dont be upset as you have got a fairly good score in the jee paper 2 i.e 210 marks. The marks may not be super good to get an IIT but a lower ranked NIT is definetly possible .Apart from this your other marks in 12th , category you fall in will also contribute to wheter you may get admission in a NIT or not.
Dear Aspirant, at this percentile your AIR might be in the range of 538966-638966. Sorry to say but at this percentile, it is impossible to be eligible for NITS. You should prepare for college-specific exams like BITSAT, SRMJEE, etc.
Hi Balamurugan,
As you mentioned your JEE Mains 2019 score 81.755 so you are qualified JEE Mains exam admission as per previous year cutoff for JEE Mains. The previous year cutoff for JEE Mains as follows:
Category Min Score
General 74
OBC 45
SC 29
ST 24
PWD -35
Also you have good score in 12th board exam so you are eligible for JEE Mains exam admission. The minimum marks required for JEE Mains exam for board is 75% marks for general category and 65% for ST & SC category respectively.
Hope you get this !!
It is not about the percentile. The rank matters here. Mostly 5000-15000 ranked people in JEE mains end up with NIT's. As you have mentioned your category it may help you al little. If you qualify in JEE Advance you will have an option to get a seat in top ranked NIT. But as of now there is 60% of chance to get into for NIT. All the Best!!
Hello Sasianandh,
Definitely your percentage in 10th and 12th standard matters a lot in your selection to elite colleges like IITs or NITs. But you also need to clear their cutoff in JEE. You need to score a high percentile.
Apart from that, OBC candidates need to have 75% in 12th boards to be eligible for IITs.
Hi Draksha !

The college has many buildings and labs. Most classrooms have projectors. There is a reading room in the library. Hostel is okay with shared rooms. Food is healthy but not tasty every day. Wi-Fi works well in hostels but not in all classrooms.
Classrooms are simple and clean. Labs are available for all branches. Hostel is clean, but food is average. Library has books for every subject but some are old. Wi-Fi is not strong in all areas. Sports ground is small, but some games are organized.
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure that is needed by the students and everyone can use the facilities of the college.
