See i know that all the candidates are given two chances for jee advanced just after 12th exam. Means if you gave 12th in 2019 then you can appear in 2020 also but not afterthat. Irrespective of which college you are studying in. I have seen many studyig in nit giving jee advanced then going to iit.
No,you are not eligible. You must have to be in the top 20 percentile of your board or score atleast 75% in 12 board. So,you are not clearing that criteria as the minimum 5 subjects are required to calculate percentage including pcm and two other. So,your percentage considered for NIT Is 72.But if you are in top 20 percentile of your board then you are eligible.
Thanks.
Hello Aspirant
Congratulations as you could do what many could not. As per your query, I would like you to know that you stand a very few chances of gettin a seat in NIT through your percentile and rank. You can try for other options. Hope this answer helps you. All the best.
Hello Kiran,
The below given placement information is based on the review taken by the passed out ECE students from this college -
The placements are the best things NITians may boast about. With almost 15-20 companies per year per stream, the institute exhibits a great platform for the deserves. The educational facilities include special concern on the overall growth of the learner with good knowledge of the corporate world. Depending on the results, almost 80-85% students (who opted for placements) were placed in the companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, HP, Dell, Infosys, etc.
This department faculties are so much co-operative and helpful. I'll rate it 3.5 out of 5, as some are pretty good and some are either confused or in their own trip(nothing is perfect), but everyone is very helpful.
Hope this information helps,
Good luck!
Dear candidate...... hope you're doing good..
Well, basing upon your percentile in JEE MAINS , it seems like you may not get admission into top NITs. But you may apply for other deemed universities or private colleges or GFTIs at the time of counseling and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high.
Feel free to ask your queries.......
Best of luck!!
Hello Aspirant.
Congratulations on securing this rank.
Well with this rank you might not be able to get any IIITs, NITs or GFTIs.
For better understanding, I would suggest you to visit the links I am providing to get information regarding the branchwise cutoffs of different NITs, GFTIs and IIITs in the previous years. Having said that, I will also say that the cutoffs vary every year depending on the number of candidates, their ranks, the number of seats available, etc.
NIT cutoffs: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches
IIIT cutoffs: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

Hello Jaswanth Bayyani,
Looking at the previous years rank vs marks for getting admission into the NITs through the counseling process after JEE Mains, getting an NIT at an OBC category rank of 36,000 seems improbable. You should wait for spot rounds and see what happens. All the best.
The college has many buildings and labs. Most classrooms have projectors. There is a reading room in the library. Hostel is okay with shared rooms. Food is healthy but not tasty every day. Wi-Fi works well in hostels but not in all classrooms.
Classrooms are simple and clean. Labs are available for all branches. Hostel is clean, but food is average. Library has books for every subject but some are old. Wi-Fi is not strong in all areas. Sports ground is small, but some games are organized.
Yes the college have all the necessary infrastructure that is needed by the students and everyone can use the facilities of the college. All kinds of labs are available in the college, wifi facilities are also available in the campus. Lirary is well maintained and have wifi access also. The canteen food is not that up to the mark but you always have good and cheaper options. The college is well maintained and clean. There is a pond inside the college which make it special in places like kolkata where campases and very small.
