According to our NIFT College Predictor, there are low or no chances for you to get NIFT Kangra branch for B.FTech. course.

The other branches of NIFT where there are high chances for you to get admission in B.FTech. are Patna and Kannur.

Hey Aspirant, both the courses are well known and reputed in their particular fields.

While B.Ftech is a fashion-oriented course B.arch is an architecture oriented course .

NIFT is the most reputed fashion institute in India and B.arch from any NIT college is also a good option.

Earning immediately after completing the degree can be possible in both courses but only if you manage to study well gain almost everything from what you will study.

You must figure out whether you want to be a fashion designer or architect. This is the best way to compare both the courses.

Dear Indu, there is no fee concession. However, there is a policy called NIFT Means-Cum- Merit Financial Assistance Scheme. Undergraduates and Postgraduate students of NIFT regular programme whose parents fall within a stipulated slab of income are eligible to apply under this policy.

The cutoffs for the year 2019 are yet to be released but talking about the past year trends, in NIFT banglore, the closing rank for which admission was provided was 2103 inSC Category for BFTech.
In general category it was 179 rank and for ST category it was 1513 rank.

Considering placement all NIFT undergoing centralize placement. All the major national and international company visited on campus. An average CTC is between 2.5 LPA -6.5 LPA.  They have some major recruiters. NIFT Gandhinagar has highest package of 11.5 LPA. last year.

If you have qualified the NIFT entrance for Bftech, now you have to wait for the councelling process. The schedule for the councelling will be put up on the website in the month of May. Once the schedule is available on the website, you need to follow the instructions provided and carry on with the councelling procedure.
SO as of now, you are not supposed to do anything and simply wait for the councelling process to start.

The entrance examination for NIFT has been conducted already and the result is also declared.
if you had appeared in the examination and have been shortlisted (B.Des and M.des), then you are required to choose the test date and center for the Situation test online by logging in to your account on the official website from 27th march to 2nd april only. For the candidates who have qualified for BFtech or MFTech, will have to wait till may for the councelling schedule which will be uploaded on the website.
If you have not appeared in the entrance this time, then you will have to wait for this year and you can then apply next year.
