My college has all the facilities and infrastructure. We have a WiFi enabled campus and smart classes. All labs, library, common rooms are well organised and maintained. Campus in all has 3 buildings and all are well equipped with necessary amenities.
My college is rated one of the best private engineering colleges in India. The quality of faculty and their readiness to help us is commendable. Curriculum provided by our University is regularly updated and carefully taught to us.
Quality of placements are really good in our college. All well known and cash rich multinational companies come to our college for recruitment. Our college has about 85% placement record. Highest package offered was about 12lpa.
Overall infrastructure, facilities and equipments are good. Classrooms, laboratory and library are well maintained. Campus is well furnished, well decorated and clean. The environment is study friendly.
Quality of teaching is average to good. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the respective fields. The study here makes a student job-ready. The faculty members are friendly and professional.
72% is of overall all the streams. 85% in case of Computer Science and Engineering. (2020 data) A lot of Multi National Companies come here for recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The Placement Cell of the college is good.
Yeah, it's value for money.
Campus life is average to good.
In a word, it's a good college for engineering and other studies.
Our college has all necessary infrastructure and facilities. Laboratories are well equipped;we get more recourses from digital library; though the campus is not very big,but we get all facilities that any other engineering college can have. There is no hostel facility in our college, students from outside the city live in different mess and pg outside the college. The college has its own canteen and the quality of food is quite decent. Moreover the college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Academics of our college is quite good. I am studying B.Tech in CSE and as of now I can say that the faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful. The quality of teaching they provide is quite good. The course curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in this field.
The quality of placement is good. Around 72% students got placed in different companies and in CSE department 85% students have been placed in this year. The highest package was 12LPA and average package was 3.5-4LPA in this year. The placement process is easy and the college's placement cell is supportive in this purpose.
For B.Tech in CSE the course cost is around 3,57,000 in 4 year. The cost is value for money with respect to the facilities and infrastructure we are provided. The college authority doesn't force students to pay immediately , they give us enough time to pay as our convenience.
The campus life of a student in this college is very good. We are going through so many extra-curricular activities and events beyond our studies. Different types of Technical fest, hackathon, social clubs engage us very much.
College infrastructure is good with well furnished as well as spacious classrooms enabled with smart boards. Well equipped laboratory in adequate number are there. Campus is Wifi enabled with common room for both boys and girls. Great library with a digital libary also. Sports arena is also with a small ground. Spacious campus with great vibes.
Faculty is moderate with good retention. Classes are regular and attendance is not so much of strict. Syllabus is up to date but lacks guided faculty. Placement trainings and internship support if available with value added training as well. But not organised well.
Placements are fair and nearly 72 percent got placed in 2020. Placements are top notch in CSE and ECE streams where nearly 85 percent got placed. Placement training is available with value added training for jobs. Top companies such as TCS are main recruiters with base package of 3.5 to 4 lacs per annum.
3.69 lacs for four years but money is worth it. Placement surerity is there and academics are good. Internship support and value added training are added advantage. Placement training is available also. Faculty is good and environment is good as well.
Open environment and good campus life. Seniors are helpful. Teachers are hearty. Sports activities as well as club activites as added advantages. Fests both tech fest as well as cultural fest are of great memory. Hackathons and other events are encoragrd as well by faculty. Great four years outside study surely!
Hostel is not available in this college being a Techno India Group College. Classrooms don't have AC some labs like Language lab and Programming labs have it but not all Labs. WiFi is available. Living spaces are clean.
I'm studying B.Tech(Information Technology) because honestly, I heard that placement of this dept. is good. Yes curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes I guess, what we study makes us job ready.
I don't know much about placements because I'm a student of second year here and it would not be fair if I say anything about placements. Previous year placements was quite satisfactory as I heard from my seniors.
In First year I paid 1,33,500/- Second year I would pay 84,500/- Third year 86,500 and In Final year I would be paying 88,500/-. Yes I think I'm getting my money's worth. They offer VAT( Value Added Training) from the first year itself being first year student I learnt Ethical Hacking by this training. Teacher's are very helpful here.
Overall infrastructure of our college is good. We have enough classrooms for our department. There are specific laboratories for specific practical works. Our college has digital library along with central library. WiFi connection is good. Almost every class has projector. But we don't have college hostel. The students who come from outside of Kolkata they have to stay as paying guest. Our college takes fees for sports activities but the infrastructure for that is not good enough.
I am a student of Electronics and Communication engineering. The faculty members are really very good and friendly. They are highly experienced. As the university syllabus is not sufficient they provide us with other study materials . They also encourage us to do hands-on projects.
The average percentage of placement in our department is 65-70%. The highest salary package offered this year is 10 LPA by BYJUS. 6 students have got this offer. One of them is from our department. 2nd highest is 9 LPA by ThoughtWorks. 3 students have got this offer. Average salary package is 3.6 to 4 LPA.
At the time of admission we had to pay almost 95,000/-. For 2nd year the fees is 84,500/-. For 3rd year and 4th year the fees are 86,500/- and 88,500/- respectively.
Campus overall is quite good. There are well equipped labs with advanced equipments. It has a badminton court inside the college campus but there's a lack of proper playground. There is one such playground 10 minutes walking distance from the college.
As for the departments the facilities are quite good. It has got great CSE , ME and EE teachers but it also depends upon the individual views of how well you get along with them. The curriculum is always updated and new things are always welcomed . If a good cgpa is maintained alongside with skills in software and communication getting a placement isn't that hard.
I haven't graduated till now. But the placement is good if you have good cgpa you can definitely get a job. There are lots of internship opportunities as well. The highest salary package offered was 12lpa and the lowest was 5lpa. Placements are quite decent if you maintain the criteria and are hard working.
It's quite affordable and staying near the college is also fine and reasonable.
It's near Kavi Subhash Metro station. You can take an auto from there and it will drop you near the college.
Overall it's quite good .One of the best private colleges where you can get both freedom of college and classes like school.
Everything is outstanding, good infrastructure, facilities and equipment . The facilities were we can do smart class through projector and we can issue hooks from library without any cost and also we can participate in any sports whatever like . And yes ofc they all used and well maintained.
Im studying engineering in the field of computer science. The professor were extremely generous and they clear our doubt as well .. Not yet and yes it includes all the recent developments in the field .
To be honest the the quality of placement in our college is exceptional great in the field of Computer science and Information technology as well as ECE. In every class almost everyone were placed . And Im talking about previous year because im in 2nd year. A minimum of 25000/30000.
1lac..and may be I don’t know.
Best
No
Classroom are good , we also have smart classrooms . Laboratories are also nice . This college has no hostel . Campus size is also small in comparison to big engineering colleges . We have a nice library and sports ground .
Not very fine , teachers are well qualified but still don't teach very well . Curriculum is good and includes most of the recent developments in the field of engineering . Study is mainly job oriented and make a person ready to take job just after completion of degree.
Average . Placement is not very fine but still one can get decent placement . Average placement of college is 4.5 lakhs per annum . Highest placement offered is 10 lakhs per annum . Placement cell is very active and always try to make placement better .
The college is not much high if you think about private college . It just cost you 4 lakh for 4 years which is not much amount and yes you can have facilities that proves your money is not being wasted .
Campus life is good . Nice students and faculties . Atmosphere is very jolly and everyone is supportive . Campus is clean and safe . Various activities and fest occur time to time in college throughout the year.
Good .
Good , it has all the facilities required . Classrooms are good and well maintained . Also laboratories are good with most advance technology . It has nice sport ground and well maintained library . Hostels are not available .
I am an ECE student and it is the best branch available in my college after CSE . Teaching quality is good and teachers are highly qualified and make everything clear to students . Curriculum followed by institute updated time to time as per requirement .
Talking about placement , it is not very good but still it is okay . Average placement is 4 lakhs per annum . TCS is mass recruiter . Some other big IT companies also visit our campus . Intel , Microsoft and Amazon also visit our campus .
It cost you approx 4 lakh for 4 years B.Tech. course excluding hostel as it has no hostel . The facilities offered by college in this much money is worth satisfactory .
Campus life is very good . It has many technical and non technical clubs . You can learn many skills apart from studies . Faculties and students are very good and supportive . Campus is quite safe and can handle emergencies .
Good .
Hello,
Choosing between RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) and Netaji Subhash Engineering College (NSEC) for MCA depends on your priorities regarding attendance and placements.
1. Attendance:
While official policies at both institutions generally require 75% attendance, NSEC is typically perceived as being more lenient with attendance enforcement. This leniency could allow more flexibility for students managing internships or external activities. RCCIIT, being a government-aided institution, tends to be stricter regarding attendance to maintain academic discipline.
2. Placements:
RCCIIT has a slightly stronger reputation for placements, especially for MCA students. The college has better industry connections and companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys frequently recruit from its campus. RCCIIT’s alumni network in the IT industry also plays a crucial role in securing job opportunities. On the other hand, NSEC also has decent placement records, but its focus on core engineering streams might slightly impact the MCA-specific placement scenario.
In summary, if you prioritize flexibility in attendance, NSEC may be a better fit. However, for stronger placement opportunities, RCCIIT might be a wiser choice. It's important to visit both campuses and speak with current students to get real-time feedback.
Hope it helps !

Hello,
To get a clearer picture, let us consider both the cases :
Joining NSEC Now:
Waiting for Other Rounds:
Now based on your situation, my recommendations are :-
Based on your research and personal preferences, make an informed decision. If you are confident about getting a seat in one of your higher preference colleges in the next rounds, it might be worth waiting. Otherwise, securing a seat in CSE at NSEC could be a prudent choice.
Best of luck!
