Yes, there is a chance to change your branch in second year after full filling the following criteria:

1) score more than 85% in your first year.

2) if there would be vacant seats in your desired branch.

And if we go through the placement record, VIT Ap is good but it is better in New Horizon. New horizon college of engineering is located in banagalore and is a private institution affliated to visveswaraya technological university. It has the AICTE approval and has total seats of about 150

It provides MBA course to the candidates.

Both e&t and m&t refer to the same college and theres not so much of a difference
