It's a really good college one could opt for. The most of the faculties are best trained and are very much accessible and helpful whenever the need arises and students can give feedback about their teachers to the college which makes it more effective in reducing the strains if there are any. The faculty and the management is well dignified, with immense knowledge about the concepts. There is a placement administration group which helps the student in developing their communication skills and related things which are essential for a student to get placed and they will organise the interviews of the student with the companies. The job opportunities provided by the college is appreciable because almost all the top mnc's such as HP, Wells fargo, Amazon and many more had come. Some of the reputed companies are ACC, EY, ACCENTURE,KPMG,NAUKRI.COM, Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Thomsan Reuters, just dial, Flipkart, .

The campus life is well balanced with profession and personal life. a lot of events keeps going on college. social events take place very often with the help of Rotary Bangalore. inter department events also take place like debates and sports like basketball and sports tournament.

If you consider last year cutoffs then these were the figures :

MBA Business Analytics - 17475

MBA Finance         - 17475

MBA Human Resource Management- 17500

So. your rank is nowhere near to the last year cutoffs. But you can directly talk to the management.

According to previous records, the average PGCET Cutoff for MBA in presidency college is 5000 for the general category.

Therefore, i would not be possible for you to get admission in this particular college with this rank.

The placement of presidency college ,banglore in quite good.in that college placement cell is active .around 30 companies visited there college for placement and 80 percent of the student get placed .Also they allow one job per student ao that other student get chance that means if a student get placed in one company he/she will not allowed to seat in placemnt for other company.the top mnc company also go there like amazon,hp,wells fargo

For admission to MSc Statistics course in Presidency University, you have to appear in PUMDET counselling which is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB).

There is no news regarding second round counselling for admission to PG courses on the official website of the university.

Documents required for Counselling for Admission & Counselling For PUMDET are :

• Transfer Certificate   
• Community Certificate (For OC candidates community certificate not required)   
• Certificates for Special categories, if required     
• Nativity Certificate if required   
•  Date of Birth Certificate (SSC / ICSE / CBSE).
• Medical certificate
• Admit Card of PUMDET 2019.
• PUMDET rank card
• Admit card of 10th standard examination/ Birth certificate
• Mark sheet and certificate of 10th standard Board examination
• Mark sheet and certificate (if available) of 10+2 standard Board examination
• Mark sheet and certificate (if available) of B.A. /B. Sc. examination

If you are alloted with a seat in the first round itself and want to report before the beginning of second round then you need to get the dates of reporting from the respective college for the same and need to physically appear and complete the admission process. Or if you are not alloted with any seat yet and want to get a seat before committing of second round then you need to check if there is any management quota available is the college. If so, then you need to get admission through that and if not, then you need to wait till completion of subsequent rounds and get a seat if any remains vacant at that time.

Yes you should apply for counselling in the presidency college calcutta. You have fair chances to get seat for B.sc in this college . So register for counselling to confirm your seat. You got pretty decent rank si don't worry about seat . You will definitely get it.

In biology there are total 93 seats out of which  63 seats are for Unreserved candidates . Since your rank is 246 it is really difficult for you to get  admission in presidency university. I would however suggest you to wait til; the counselling is done and over with because you might still be called for counselling but getting called for counselling and getting a seat are different things. All the best.
