It totally depends upon college to college. Dear aspirant,

The cut offs varies as per the college from high to low. For example SIMSREE has a cut off range of atleast 99+ percentile. For Pune University of management the cut off required is atleast 96+ percentile. For great lakes institute of management , Chennai 96+ percentile is a must.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

The cutoff is not released by the authorities and it will be released on the official website.Cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam,difficulty level of paper,category etc factors,so its quite tough to say exactly the cutoffs. as you did not mention your category considering you from general category,based on previous year analysis and percentile 49.46 , you have tough chances to fetch seat for mba in colleges.

The Prestige Institute of Management and Research (PIMR), Indore is a well -established premier management Institute of Madhya Pradesh.

The college is popular for its MBA program (both full-time and part-time) with placements ranging between 3-4 LPA with most of the students recruited in BFSI and FMCG sectors.

Admission to all courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. For entrance based admission, the cut-off ranges between 90-95 percentile.

Now you see that the cutoffs are very high in this colleges so either you need to have good marks or qualify CMAT .

Both the institutes are private institutions and is  good for pursuing management studies. Both of them have excellent academic history and have good rating. The IIMS offer PGDM courses while the PIMR offers full time MBA with various specializations. My humble request is to to go for IIMS because it have comparatively high ratings in terms of placements and infrastructure. It is only a suggestion since the outcome of every course is based on performance of students.
