Raipur Block Mahavidyalaya, Kharigerya is a newly established affiliated college in Bankura, West Bengal. The admissions are purely based on merit. Degree wise Admission Process

BA (Honours): Raipur Block Mahavidyalaya offers eight BA Honours courses which include Bengali, English, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Santali, Political Science, and Education. Admission to these courses is pure merit based, considering the marks scored in relevant subjects at the 10+2 level. Each subject will have certain requirements that must be fulfilled.

BA (General): The college also runs a general BA program for students who prefer having a broader course of study. Admission in the BA General program also relies mostly on merit considering overall performance in the 10+2 examinations.

BA in Physical Education: This specialized course is meant for students who have an interest in sports and physical education. The admission process is merit-bases and preference given to candidates with sports excellence or level of fitness.

For all programs, the admission process of the college is quite simple where students are granted admissions on the basis of qualifying examination performance. The college does not hold any separate entrance tests for admitting students to these undergraduate courses.
