It would be difficult to tell you your exact chances as cutoffs vary from year to year depending on various factors like no. of candidates appearing for the exam, no. of seats available, difficulty of the exam and the top NEET scores. The previous year state quota OBC cutoff for Rajendra institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi was around 550 only. So your scores are on borderline. Hope for the best.

Cut off for RIMS in 2018 was around 550.this year the cut off will definitely be more than 550 as the level of paper was  easier than the previous year.

So I feel that your changes of getting RIMS is less, if you belong to general or obc.

RIMS, Ranchi is one of the best medical college in Jharkhand. According to the last year cut off, students getting marks 437 or more were given admission for AIQ seats. For state quota seats, 401 marks was the cut off.

The admission of MBBS & BDS and other Ayush program is through NEET Entrance Exam. there is no any state level entrance exam for Medical program.

It would be tough to tell you the exact for 2018 but as per the last year you should have more than 500 as a general category to get a Dental seat in RIIMS Ranchi.

If you have taken admission in the college and now want to withdraw your name then there are some rules and regulations that every college/university has that is to be followed while opting out.You can surely resign your college after taking admission.

RIMS Ranchi is the best institution in Jharkhand offering medical course.For this year 2017 ,UR Category state rank 114 who scored 563 in NEET 2017 was the last candidate to be alloted this institute in the first round of state counselling.Hopefully, in the upcoming consecutive rounds of counselling, State rank (UR) 120–125 may get RIMS,with NEET score around 555–560.This is just my assumption and let's hope for the best.
