About RIT Kottayam
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Kottayam was established in 1991 under the Government of Kerala. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade. The institute is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam University, Thiruvananthapuram.
RIT Kottayam offers courses including B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech and MCA. The admissions to B.Tech programmes are based on the performance of candidates in KEAM. RIT Kottayam B.Arch selection process is through NATA scores and scores obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. For M.Tech programmes, valid GATE scores are considered and for the MCA admission process, candidates must attend and qualify for the state-wide entrance examination conducted by the LBS Centre for Science and Technology.
The career guidance and placement cell of the institute conducts recruitment drives for various companies and provides aptitude training, career guidance, mock interviews, communication and soft skill development. During the placement drive of 2023, 157 students were placed from different departments.

Most better thing is helpful faculties
College Infrastructure
College is enormous and whether it is academic purposes or other facilities like canteen every thing can be availed inside campus. But For PG students hostel facilities are a bit less. But getting better due to new Mens hostel building.
I am indebted to this college for all those memories

College has all the necessary infrastructure and especially mechanical department has different workshops and even upgraded 3D printing and fab lab. We have smart classrooms. Also both men's and Ladies hostel facilities are good

We really have a huge campus with well equipped lab and workshop. We also have a good playground and a proper gym for both females and males . The one darkside of the huge campus is that we have to travel a lot for all kind of stuff

I hope you are doing good . With reference to your query, I would glad to inform you that for getting securing a seat in btech course in RIT university you rank must be below Atleast 7000 . For getting admission in cse stream your rank should be below 2500 as comptetion is very high in cse branch which can only be scored by working very very hard .
