The college is offering a Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme. The Ram Swaroop College admission into the BA programme shall be based on the merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination (10+2). The college runs Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course as well. B.Sc. admissions are merit-based by considering the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination focusing on science subjects. The college Ram Swaroop Yadav Mahavidyalaya adopts a procedure for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. According to what has been stipulated in the admission policy of the college, "Admission shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university selection."
