Ramkali Mahavidyalaya, Prayagraj, and is affiliated for offering the full range of undergraduate programmes for students in the Art and Science streams. The college proffer 11 full-time courses, predominantly on Arts and Sciences only. These includes several Bachelor of Arts(B.A) and Bachelor Science (B.Sc.) with various specialisation. The Ramkali Mahavidyalaya admission cycle is mostly concurrent with the academic calendar and commences usually in July or August. Most of the time, candidates are granted eligibility to the undergraduate courses at Ramkali Mahavidyalaya by passing the 10+2 or an equivalent exam endorsed by a recognised board. Ramkali Mahavidyalaya has several BA programmes that include BA (General), BA (Sanskrit) with Hons, BA (English) with Hons, BA (Social Sciences) with Hons, BA (History) with Hons as well as BA (Economics) with Hons. Each of these specialisations has a different intake capacity; BA Social Sciences Hons, BA Sanskrit Hons, and BA History Hons are having 87 seats each, whereas BA English Hons is with 72 seats and BA Economics Hons with 44 seats.
The college also had a provision of numerous B.Sc programmes such as B.Sc (General), B.Sc. Mathematics Hons, B.Sc. Physics Hons, B.Sc. Botany Hons, and B.Sc. Zoology Hons. Among these B.Sc facilities, B.Sc. Mathematics Hons has the most intake of 87 students, with B.Sc. Physics Hons having an intake of 57 while both B.Sc. Botany Hons and B.Sc. Zoology Hons have an intake of 45 each.
Applicants for both BA and B.Sc. programmes need to have passed the 10+2 level or its equivalent in the concerned study subjects. The main criteria for selection maybe merit basis with respect to marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
