The methodology is based on the overall recommendations and broad understanding reached by a Core Committee established by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) to define the broad factors for evaluating universities and institutes.

"Teaching, Learning, and Resources," "Research and Professional Practices," "Graduation Outcomes," "Outreach and Inclusivity," and "Perception" are some of the main categories covered by the parameters.

The NIRF ranking of RNSIT lies between 250-300

Now both the colleges you have mentioned are moderate colleges. The infrastructure in both of them are quite good. But in terms of lab infrastructure SCEM is a better choice. Now from the curriculum perspective there are no difference between this two colleges as they are both affiliated by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi . Now the faculties in both the college are good and there are not much of difference to talk about. From a placement perspective SCEM is better than RNSIT in terms of average packages offered. Although the placement rate in SCEM are fluctuating and sometimes have a down pour compared to that of RNSIT. But in most year, SCEM have provided better placement opportunities than RNSIT.

RNSIT is one of the best and top accredited engineering colleges in Bengaluru .

Placements: Artificial intelligence and machine learning branch is new. It is introduced in 2020 in RNSIT, so I cannot tell you the placement statics of this branch right now. But the placement is pretty good here. The highest package for the year 2021 is INR 19 Lacs/annum. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, and many more. One student got an internship from Adobe of INR 3 Lacs for 3 months.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good like other top colleges. The college has a large campus of 174 acres, but the college area is only 10 acres rest of the area is forest type that is not used. The college has a decent library like all types of the book available there. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and labs are pretty decent here. Mess food is healthy. One main ground which is well maintained and beautiful, but no one can play here, only tournaments are allowed there, but there is 2 other ground of college which are maintained well.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they will send you the notes and you can ask anything. Teaching quality is good. There are many seminars and webinars for students for extra knowledge, like how the industry works, and many knowledgeable people from the tech sector are taking seminars.

Candidates seeking admission based on merit in JEE Main will get admission under Management Quota. Admission under Management quota shall be subject to Government Policy. The placements in CSE are good here. The average package is around 3-4 LPA whereas the highest package goes upto 10 LPA. Other facilities are good here. On the other hand, Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering college in Bangalore, Karnataka, India . Many courses are offered here. The fees for ECE course is around 2.35 lakhs. Placements in ECE are good here. The average package is around 4-5 LPA whereas the highest goes above 15 LPA.

Overall, NITTE College has better placements than RSNIT.
