RCET provides B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. B.Tech programmes are accepted as per the KEAM rank list. Total admission is 360 seats through different B.Tech streams in the college.

Royal College of Engineering and Technology M.Tech Admission Process

RCET offers M.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Information on M.Tech admissions is not given, but it is the general practice that the same either has a GATE score or an entrance examination by the state/university itself.

  • college is AICTE approved and affiliated with CSVTU, Bhilai.

Good placement support

  • active placement cell with support for all branches.

  • big companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon visit for placements.

Industrial location

  • located in Bhilai, which is an industrial area good for mining-related internships and exposure.

Affordable fees

  • lower fees compared to many private colleges.

Decent infrastructure

  • campus has modern labs, library, and hostel facilities.

  • hostel and canteen are average but manageable.

Supportive faculty

  • most students find the teachers helpful and experienced.

Things to keep in mind:

mining is a specialized branch

  • not as many job openings as in Computer Science or Electronics.

  • jobs are often in field work, mines, or industrial areas.

Placement for mining may vary

  • while CS/IT get higher packages, mining jobs may offer lower starting salaries.

Location matters

  • good for students from Chhattisgarh or nearby, but may not suit everyone.
