Overall it has been an OK experience.

    College Infrastructure

Facilities are reasonable. Mess can be improved. Rooms for first years are okay, however wifi is not appreciable. Our branch classrooms could also be improved. Although I heard renovation is taking place.

    Academics

I've taken a course of electronics and communication. So far I'm in first year, so I'm not familiar with the actual curriculum for the course. I heard it's a bit hectic when compared to other courses offered by the college. But I think it's worth it

    Placements

Placements is probably the one thing RVCE is famous for. I think the college does offer placement training which is worth it and the placement community in RVCE is better than other colleges and so are the placement offers

    Value for Money

The college is costly for COMEDK applicants a lot cheaper for CET students. It's almost 1/3rd the cost. So value for money is one department which the college could certainly spend sone resources on..

    Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty decent. With. Two grounds, tennis courts and two sports complexes. Although one sports complex is technically a basketball court. And the other is also technically a badminton court.

    R V COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

    College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure of our clg is good ,its not very big though. The wifi facility is there in the entire campus (The wifi speed will be good infront of Electrical Department). The food will be hygine in the mess but most of us wont recommend that coz we prefer outside food than mess?.

    Academics

Im studying ECE in RV clg. The teaching of the electrical and electronic dept teachers is awesome but a lot of spoon feeding. Our dept HOD is very strict 24/7 she will talk about rules but a nice lady.

    Placements

The highest package is around 50 lakhs per annum for CS dept, The avg for CS dept is around 12lakhs . ECE dept will get the highest no of placements , the highest package so far is 40 laks per annum, the avg salary package is around 8 to 9 lacks per annum.

    Value for Money

As i am from other state i had to pay 2 lakhs per annum for the tution fee. Our RV clg is highly reputated clg in Bangalore So the course fee is high , Im really not sure whether im getting my money's worth.

    Campus Life

The only thing I like about our clg is the innovative clubs in it , There are around 18 clubs that u can join.As i already told u that teachers will spoon feed u, there are a few sadist teachers so stay away from them ?

    Others

Even though the infrasturce , academics ,placements are ok, i wont recommend this clg coz management is money minded they will find ways to collect fines ,There are lot of issues and pbs we faced just in this one year

One year experience in RV college

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is so good. Well equipped machines and technology oriented. Classrooms, Laboratories, Libraries have all the facilities as per the requirement. Smart boards are well-maintained in the college. Wifi is available in classrooms and hostels both with proper internet speed. Living spaces are clean and food is hygienic but there are some problem with north-indian people as the food they provide doesn't suit those people properly.

    Academics

Academics of this institution is too good. I am studying BE in ECE. Quality of teaching is too good in this college. Curriculum is properly updated and they improvise the curriculum based on the current technology. Yes, they include all the recent developments in the field. This study can make anyone job-ready without any doubt. Only the thing is they take 3 internals in a semester. HOD or Dean send emails regarding some internship which is damn interesting.

    Placements

Quality of placement depends on one's study. If he/she has studied properly, he/she can get good placement in this college. Nearly 80-90% students in were placed from my branch. Highest package was 32 lac per annum in my branch. One student from CSE department got placement with annual package of 55 lac per annum. Average salary offered was 7-8 lac per annum. Placement process is not so difficult but not so easy also. Before placement, they try to shape student properly.

    Value for Money

Course cost per year is 2,01,960 as tuition fees and 38,000 is development fund. 1,00,000 is hostel charge. Overall, it costs around 3,50,000 for a year. Yes, I feel I am getting my money's worth as I am getting proper education from one of the good colleges and I am technologically updating day by day.

    Campus Life

Campus life is good. Students are engaged in various activities. We have lots of clubs in our college and we actively participate in all those. We have some club events also at the end of semester which is damn interesting. Location is quite good. It is safe and can handle all types of emergencies.

    Overall college experience is good.

    College Infrastructure

All classrooms have projectors to ease the teaching and laboratory are well equipped. Wi-fi is all over the campus, you can get high speed wi-fi and whole campus is well maintained, and I would like add it's litter free.

    Academics

For the first year I fell syllabus is outdated, TBH it's better then VTU syllabus but it still need to be modified and i feel introducing 2nd year subject to first year is a good idea. Teaching faculties are good.

    Placements

Placement is outstanding, handful of students comes to RV for placements only. Here companies comes to hire you for internship also and average placement packages here will be always higher from rest of the college's in Bangalore.

    Value for Money

The MQ is very expensive for top branches like CSE, ISE and ECE. But coming to college through KCET is affordable.

    Campus Life

College conducts college day for every 2 years, when you join this college be prepared for less entertainment.

    Others

Here they conducts more exams from any of the college in Bangalore

    My experience in RV

    College Infrastructure

We have all the necessary facilities. So...we have a black board , a smart board and projector for various ppt displays during the lecture. Yes, they are maintained well but for some situations. Yes, the living spaces are pretty clean but sometimes short of water and food is all good and hygienic

    Academics

I am pursuing BTech in Electronics and Instrumentation. Yes, the theoretical teaching is good but practical teaching needs tl be improved. The curriculum is updated and I think so..it includes all the developments since we have not entered the branch in particular

    Placements

Almost 75% of students are placed and most of them get good salary package. The average package is 7 lakhs per annum and the highest package last year was 54 lakhs. Since I am first year student, I haven't experienced the placement.

    Value for Money

It costs me 60 thousands per year. Yes, what I am getting in college is worth but needs to be improved when it comes to practical way of teaching and better equipment for the labs. The teaching and material we get is money's worth.

    Campus Life

The college campus is little small but it seems big when compared to others in Banglore. And it is peaceful. We have sports complexes where most of them engage in several games playing and libraries for studies and many tech and non tech clubs . The campus is pretty safe and there will be a check in the entrance and is safe. Yes, emergencies can be handles since we have a medical centre inside the campus and ambulance for bigger issues.

    Others

People in the campus are cool and friendly. My experience of one year here went good and I am happy and proud to study here.

The best placements and campus life

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college has a great infrastructure which supports all kinds of activities both technical and non-technical. Its a huge campus, with well equipped laboratories. The campus is clean and beautiful, full of greenery. The library is spacious with a number of books also supporting e-Resources for learning. The campus also has a gym, tennis court, cricket and football ground and a basketball court. The boys hostel is in the campus while the girls hostel which is outside, would soon be shifted in.

    Academics

I am currently pursuing ECE here. The college has well qualified and supportive teaching staff. The curriculum is well updated as per the industry requirement and involves a wide exposure to all new technologies.

    Placements

The college has best placements compared to any other college in the state. The CS and ECE students bag the best offers among other branches also their placement percentage is comparatively higher. The highest package previous year was 52 lack given to a CS student and the average package is 7 lack.

    Value for Money

The college is a bit expensive. The hostel and mess fees is very high. The overall cost per year comes to be more than 2 lack. The hostels are not worth the fees.

    Campus Life

The campus is very spacious and huge, its filled with greenery. The food court and the coffee shop are the popular spots where the students hangout with their friends. The campus life is fun filled. The campus is situated on the 8th mile, Mysore Road. The college fest named '8th mile' is the most awaited event for the students.

college for best eduction and placement

    College Infrastructure

RV College of Engineering (RVCE) has various facilities and infrastructure provided to the students, faculty and the staff on the college. Facilities like a food court, transport, health centre, sport and gymnasium, reprographic services, rainwater harvesting phases, seminar halls, hostel, and library are provided by the RVCE.

    Academics

I am pursing mt be in ece i love etronic devices so i took admission in ece.Teachers are not highly qualified, but they are good. Teaching quality is not the top, but it is better if we read after every class or revise. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, but it is not sufficient for an engineering college.

    Placements

Very less percentage of the students are placed from our college. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, BEL India and other good companies. Top roles offered to the students are mostly based on research. Very less percentage of the students are placed from our college. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies come

    Value for Money

the fess take for per year in rv college is 3.90 for per/year i think the things they provide for this amount is not really worth the food in mess and the classroom and instruments in labs i dont say they dont have instrument but half of them dose not work

    Campus Life

I have chosen this course because I wanted to study civil engineering course. I want to design structures. The best thing about our course is that there are many government job opportunities. This is relatively easy from other courses. Many things which we study are not in present use, so the college should update the syllabus. Our main college fest named 8 Mile, is organised at our college for 3 days. The campus is crowded only in working hour because only 30% of students reside in the hostel.

    Others

the cllg life is great and study is also great but one things hits the most is the food and living space that is the reason i personal dont like this cllg

Between UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies) and RVCE (R.V. College of Engineering) for Mechanical Engineering, RVCE is generally the better choice. Located in Bangalore, RVCE has a strong reputation, high placement rates, and excellent faculty in engineering. It’s known for providing hands-on experience and strong industry connections, especially in core engineering. UPES is good too, particularly for energy-related fields, but for Mechanical Engineering with broad career prospects, RVCE may offer more value and opportunities.
