Can OMS category students get coep spce vjti? These colleges are not shown in the choice filling list

no, i also belong to oms category 

i just found out during my choice filling 

that oms category students are not eligible for vjti and spce

only stufdents born in maharastra or having a domicile of maharastra can get admission in those colleges.

I am from Mumbai & I want machanical. Shall I take admission to VJTI, SPCE OR at BITS. BITS fess are too high(5 times) so I am confused.

Taking admission in BITS will be very good if you are getting seat in BITS Pilani campus. You will get exposure to new world in BITS which is not there in state government college. You will need to take loans to study in BITS but it's worth it. If you are not ready to take huge loans VJTI will be good choice after BITS. SPCE have less number of courses see of Mechanical is available there. Finally compare placement offered.

What to do for macnical engineer after 10???

Hi Aniket,
     You want to persue mechanical engineering after 10+2 .thats good that you want to go for it since class 11th only. So for that if you could manage up your time you can start any coaching or foundation coarse for jee and other exam with class 11th itself. And take pcm with computers as the subject in 11th and 12th and study 11th and 12th very sincerely. All the very best !

you must not expect admission in any good college in Mumbai being a GENERAL/OPEN category student that too in OHU (Out of Home University) category which has very limited number of seats.

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering requires a student to study a lot more than other branches.

Rather than taking up admission in any of the crappy colleges run under the University of Mumbai,my sugession for you is to appear for MHT-CET and JEE Mains once again and prepare well for the same, build your aptitude to pursue engineering and think over your branch choices in advance after reading up about every branch of engineering.

The infrastructure of SPCE is average as this college is very old. But all needful facilities are available. Purified cold drinking water is available on every floor of the building. The building is of 2 floors. Quadrangle provided in the middle of the building. Washroom facilities are available on every floor. The environment of the college is best as SPCE is on Bhavan's campus. There are 3 to 4 other colleges also there. Space has its hostel whose seat filling is done based on merit.
