hi,
With your son’s KCET rank of 178,061 and OBC category, he is eligible for counselling. But getting admission depends on the course and college cutoffs. Popular courses like Computer Science usually have much lower cutoffs, so it might be tough to get those seats.
The next step is to get all the required documents ready, like his KCET application, admit card, marksheets, caste certificate, and income certificate if needed. Then, you need to register on the official KEA website when counselling starts and fill in the colleges and courses he wants.
After that, KEA will allot seats based on rank and choices. If he gets a seat, you’ll have to go to the college to complete admission formalities. Keep checking the KEA website regularly for updates on counselling dates and seat allotment results.
Hello there,
If you are at the final step of the TNEA application form and need to correct the "1st Graduate" status, here is what you should do:
Look for an option to edit or modify the application before final submission. Usually, TNEA allows editing details until you submit the form.
Find the field where you marked "1st Graduate" (this means if your parents or guardians are first graduates in the family).
Change the option as per your actual status:
Select "Yes" if your parent/guardian is the first graduate.
Select "No" if they are not.
After making the correction, save the changes carefully.
Review the entire form again before final submission to avoid further errors.
If you have already submitted and cannot edit online, contact the TNEA helpdesk immediately via their official contact numbers or email. Explain your issue and ask if the correction is possible.
Keep a record of any communication with TNEA for reference.
Make sure to provide accurate information because incorrect details can affect your admission or reservation benefits.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
If you’ve completed about 90% of your admission form but the link isn’t allowing you to proceed to the next step, it’s likely a technical issue. First, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache and cookies, then attempt again. If that doesn’t help, switch to a different browser or device to see if the problem persists. Sometimes, slow internet or unsupported browsers cause such glitches. If none of these work, contact the admission helpdesk or technical support team of the institution immediately—they can guide you or fix the problem on their end. Make sure to explain the exact issue and provide screenshots if possible to speed up the assistance. Don’t delay because some forms have strict deadlines
