Shri Gaya Deen Mahavidyalaya, Auraiya Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Shri Gaya Deen Mahavidyalaya is one of the well-known government institutions for teacher training programs in Auraiya. Pre-trained in B.Ed. and D. El. Ed, the college also offers two full-time courses in education. According to the policies of the Uttar Pradesh State Government and the affiliated University, Shri Gaya Deen Mahavidyalaya admits deserving candidates on the basis of merit.

Graduates with a bachelor's or equivalent degree can apply for 100 seats in the B.Ed. program. D.El.Ed., planning to prepare primary teachers, has 50 seats and will be opened up to candidates whose 10+2 course completion or equivalent qualification is attained. Selection for the two courses is decided on the basis of the performance of candidates in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.

Application Process

This would include the following steps entered by applicants for Shri Gaya Deen Mahavidyalaya, Auraiya:

1. Admission Announcement: The commencement of the admission process will be advertised through the college's official website and all other means.

2. Application Form: Candidates will get and complete the application form, which they may download from the college's website or obtain from campus in person.

3. Documents Submission: The completed application form will be submitted by the candidate in person by uploading various documents - 

• Marks sheets of the qualifying examinations 
• 10th, 12th - graduation for the B.Ed
• 10th and 12th for the D.El.Ed
• Valid ID proof
• Recent passport size photographs
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Any other document required by the college or the state education department

4. Entrance Exam: Candidates will take an entrance examination if applicable according to state government/university norms.

5. Merit List: A merit list is drawn on the basis of performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Counselling is held for shortlisted candidates, where seats are allocated based on merit and availability.

7. Fee: Selected candidates are required to pay the prescribed fee for confirming admission.

8. Document Verification: The college shall thereafter proceed to the verification of all the submitted documents before the final admission process.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): The total recognized capacity for the B.Ed. course at Shri Gaya Deen Mahavidyalaya is 100 seats.  Admission to this course will be accessed based on merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination or the entrance examination. Selection will follow the policies laid down by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the affiliated University. A candidate eligible for the B.Ed. must at least be a graduate with a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed. has 50 seats, which is useful for the aspirers who want to be primary teachers. This process, too, is merit based wherein the marks scored by the students in qualifying examinations (10+2 or equivalent) and/or the entrance examination would be counted. Policies laid down by the Uttar Pradesh State Government and the affiliate institution govern selection criteria.
