B.Sc: SMVC provides B.Sc courses in three specializations - Maths Group, Bio Group, and a general B.Sc course. The strength of B.Sc courses is 300 seats (120 each in Maths and Bio Groups, and 60 for the general B.Sc course). Admission is merit-based on the results of the 12th standard in science subjects.

M.A.: Master of Arts degree programs in three disciplines - History, Political Science, and Geography are available in the college. All M.A. courses have 30 intake seats.
