Sri Manakula Vinayagar School of Architecture (SMVSA) is a forthcoming school of architecture in Puducherry. The college accepts 40 students every year for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course. SMVSA possesses a complex admission process according to norms established by the government of India for architectural education.

The choice procedure in SMVSA is primarily based on performance by candidates through national-level entrance examinations. The institute takes into account scores in two of the most significant entrance examinations: National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Paper-II. These entrance tests are specifically made to evaluate candidates' aptitude for studying architecture.

SMVSA academic year and individual admission process are usually concurrent with NATA or JEE Main calendars. However, it should be understood that some specific dates may vary. The prospective students are also encouraged to update themselves continuously through the official website of SMVSA about latest news on admission procedures and times.
