For CUET PG, you need a Central EWS certificate to claim the General-EWS category reservation, not a state-level one; therefore, based on official websites' information, you should get a Central EWS certificate even if you already submitted your application with a state EWS certificate.
The CUET is a central level exam, and the reservation policy for EWS is based on the guidelines set by the central government, which requires a Central EWS certificate.
While your application might not be outright rejected due to a state EWS certificate, it's best to be cautious and obtain a Central EWS certificate to avoid any potential issues during verification and submit it during form correction.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Hello Ananya,
For CUET PG, you are required to submit a Central GEN-EWS certificate if you belong to the EWS category, as the admission process follows central government norms. The State GEN-EWS certificate may not be considered valid, as each state has its own criteria for issuing such certificates, and they may not be recognized in the central admission process.
Since you've already submitted your application with the State GEN-EWS certificate , it's advisable to get a Central GEN-EWS certificate to avoid any issues with your application.
Here's what you can do:
This way, you can ensure your application is in order and avoid any chances of rejection.
