For HR you must have interest in human psychology, organizational behavior, organizational development, dealing with range of professionals , employee psychology , work place issues, political and economic  issues.

Marketing and sales go hand-in-hand. Marketing also involves advertising and digital marketing. For marketing you need patience, pleasant smile , good body language , and adapt to the changing trends.

SIIB Pune gives reservation policy to the management programme which has separate policy.

The reservation seats intake is:

Defence category :

80 percent seats for dependents (children or ward ) of defence personnel

Defence category special- 10 percent seats for dependents( children or ward) killed in war or war like operations or Dis-abeled in war, counter insurgency or war like operations, with more than 50 percent disability or who have died while in service,death being attributable to military service

Open or industry category:

10 percent seats are open in category for civilian candidates under open or sponsored recommended by industry.

Reservation seats of seats :

Officers of armed forces on study leave as authority by respective services HQ s are granted automatic subject to meeting eligibility criteria.

The type of disabilities are:

Dyslexia

Multiple disabilities

Locomotor disabilities

Hearing impairment

Vision impairment

Mental retardation

The cut off for the course in SIIB is 92 percentile.

The shortlisted candidates are called for group exercise, personal interview, writing ability test. Based on the performance of the candidates they are selected.

The fees per semester is around 2,20,000.  Over all we can  say it is towards the higher side  for an under graduation degree . But considering the name symbiosis has , I feel it is worth the money .They also provide scholarship facilities  if you end up scoring 85% or above in your 10th and 12th grade . Up to 30-50% scholarship is given by the college for students . Student loans can be availed for these courses . Placements can be termed as a  great positive remark as it is great to have great companies come to grab most talented people.

Yes, you can.You don't need to worry about worry about you class 11 marks.There is no relation of your class 11 marks for you admission or to sit in any entrance exams.Just make sure you pass your class 12th with at least 60-75 percentage to be eligible for admission in any top college.

Symbiosis Institute of International is one of the good colleges after IIFT if you really want to pursue your career in the field of International Business. Ranked as 3 rd best B-School in Pune by The Week and 10 th best Private B-School in the West Zone also by The Week, this college was established in the year 1992 and has continued its rich legacy successfully adding alumni in the corporate world.

There are 3 courses that are primarily offered by SIIB.

1. MBA in International Business- This is the flagship course offered by this institute and is one of the few institutes which provides the course. Specialisations offered in it are Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management.  Total intake for this course is 120. Domestic compensation offered in this specialisation is 10.45 LPA which is its median salary and 10.60 LPA which is its average salary. International compensation offered is 45 LPA which is both its median and average. The cut off for this course lies within the range of 87-89 percentile in SNAP. The process of final selection remains upon the discretion of the institute with GD & PI conducted within the institute within fixed set of days.

2. MBA in Agri Business- MBA-Agri Business program broadly covers Marketing, (emphasis on rural marketing and retail management) Finance, (emphasis on micro finance, commodity trading and lending and risk management) Supply Chain Management, (logistics in retail) and Taxation. It also details all the relevant and applicable fields of Agriculture and WTO, Agri-export-import and Agricultural Finance. The average salary offered for this course is 8.75 LPA while the median salary offered is 8.10 LPA. Companies like ITC- ABD, Cargill, HDFC life, L&T Finance, Nagarjuna Fertilizers, Godrej Tyson Foods etc thrive in the placement process. The SNAP cut off for this course is around 50-60 percentile.

3. MBA in Energy and Environment- A pioneer in this field, SIIB teaches this niche course with utmost vigour and is recognised by the industry leaders like CII, KPMG, etc. The median salary for this course is 8.48 LPA and the average salary stands at 8.80 LPA. Organisations like TATA MOTORS, KPMG, EY, Mahindra and Mahindra extend their offer of employment to the students of this course. Expected cut off for this course is 40 percentile in SNAP.

Now, the rest lies on you and your score in SNAP. If you are really passionate about MBA in Energy & Environment or Agri Business, then only go for it. The International Business course is very reputed and industry stalwarts prefer candidates for this course from this institute.

SIIB (Pune) is a college with courses dealing with International Business and thus the specialisations are also in the field of International Business. SNAP cut-off lies in the range of 88-90 percentile. Companies like Crisil, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, L&T Finance have extended the offer of employment to the students and the average and median salary lies at 10.60 and 10.45 lakhs per annum respectively for the batch of 2017-19.

SIOM (Nashik) is one of the few colleges in India which is providing specialised course of MBA in Operations Management only. With a view of transforming an individual into techno business leaders, this college keeps a low SNAP cut-off of 75 percentile for the engineers(as Engineers are only eligible to apply). Functional comprehension of SAP and Six Sigma (Green Belt) are the stated USPs of this college. The average compensation for the freshers remain at 9.50 lakhs per annum while for the experienced people at 10.06 lakhs per annum. The highest package is 21 lakhs per annum. SIOM witnesses recruiters from Consulting, FMCG, E-Commerce, IT/ITES, Logistics and Manufacturing domains.
