Chances would be dim. I would suggest you to keep as a back up option of other colleges in your option.

Or else, If you don't get selected give another attempt next year. or apply for other entrances exams also like CAT, CMAT, IBSAT, MAT, CET, GMAT( if want to go abroad)

IPE Hyderabad

The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) was established in the year 1964 and it is located in Hyderabad, Telangana. It was created as a place for the study of issues and policies relating to public enterprises (PEs).

Placements: Placements are average and could be better for a college of the size and heritage of IPE. The highest CTC offered to students was around 15 lakhs per annum. But the average CTC was around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Lowest CTC offered was around 3-4 lakhs per annum. Recruiters such as Novartis, Future Group, ICICI, Tata Teleservices, Oracle and so on came to recruit students. Students are given assistance during summer internships. The highest stipend was Rs 25000 per month, the average stipend was Rs 5000 per month, and the lowest Rs 1000. 

Infrastructure: IPE Hyderabad has excellent infrastructure facilities. It has centralized Air conditioning and excellent hostels. There is a well-maintained library which is up to date with all academic books, politics, journals by various publications and so on. 

Faculty: Faculty members are of high caliber and very experience. The faculty to student ratio would be around 1:12. The teaching method is mostly theoretical mixed with a bit of practicality. There are numerous industry visits and industry exposure provided to students..

Other: The main college fest is called Sanskriti. There are numerous students run clubs and committees where students can participate in. Meritorious students can look for scholarship opportunities.

SSBF - Symbiosis School of Banking & Finance was established to address the growing demand for a trained workforce in the Banking and Financial Services Sector.

Placements: Placements are decent at SSBF. Almost 80 percent of the batch gets placed by the 3rd semester. The highest CTC offered is around 10.50 Lakhs per annum and the average is around & lakhs per annum.  Companies such as Axis Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, ICICI,  HDFC, Capital First, PWC, Federal Bank and so on are regular recruiters in SSBF. 

Infrastructure: SSBF is located in Symbiosis Knowledge Village, Lavale, Pune. It is one of the best campuses in India. It is lush green and has all the facilities you can imagine. It has all the facilities for different sports such as squash, badminton, cricket, football, etc. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. A LAN cable is also provided in the hostel to access the internet.

Faculty: Faculty is a mix of pure academicians and industry experts. There are many visiting faculty members who have profound knowledge about the sector. Numerous guest lectures are also scheduled to get a different perspective on topics.

Both IPE Hyderabad and SSBF are Tier 4 colleges. Placements, quality of students and faculty, facilities are all on similar lines. Since you want to specialize in Banking and Finance, SSBF would be a better match because it is a much more specialized course tailored for the BFSI Sector.
