Hi Raghav,

Thankyou for connecting with Careers360.

BIM Trichy might give a call, TAPMI seems bleak. Their declared cutoffs for people with workex is 80 percentile. Sometimes they call people who have a profile like yours at around 75-77 percentile. 73 is a little low OA for CAT. Given the fact they are reducing intake to their PGDM program, it's a little tough.

All the best,
Cheers.

Hi Deeksha,

Thanks for connecting with Careers360

TAPMI cutoff for freshers for PGDM and PGDM HR/Sales&Marketing programs would be 85, for people with workex greater than 12 months, it would be 80 (might get a call at 75+ if the profile is like yours). For PGDM BKFS it would be 90 for freshers and 85 for people with workex. Chance of convert is also high, depends on the interview. GIM might call you based on your profile and sectional cutoffs. UBS and BHU is a sure short call.

All the best,
Cheers.

See All these colleges require atleast 85 percentile in Cat.

The profile you have, is required for short listing after the calls are given. Generally if the percentile range is between 85-90 you will definitely get a call from these colleges.

But there are special categories in such colleges where cutoff is absolute as well as profile based.

For example.

BKFS in Tapmi shortlists only creamy students of finance who have strong financial background who have done some work in finance sector or maybe have certain certificates related to the finance field.

Even if you have 90 percentile you can easily be not given a call for this field. And Beside 465 general management seats. Bkfs has 60 seats which are for core finance.

The issue with your profile is that besides the workex it is quite average which will create an issue if you do not perform exceedingly well in GD PI processes after shortlisting.

All the Best.

Dear Ajinkya

Ajinkya you have a decent chance of getting the call from the Goa Institute of Management because generally they will call the candidate's who have a score of percentile from 85 - 90% percentile in the CAT entrance exam. Since you have a better score in your academics so you can except better chances to get a call.

All the best

Hi Aspirant,
The cutoff is usually around 80 percentile.
But as you must be knowing that the final selection is profile based, you can definitely expect a call.
Hope this helps.

TAPMI offer the courses like PGDM, PGDM BKFS, PGDM HRM. You can also check the detail of the courses with given below link.

TAPMI Courses

Good Luck!

Very less chances expected for receiving callbased on GMAT scpres as generally 600+ score is must as cutoff for Tapmi for Further WAT Pi rounds, even if you have work experience and good academic chances look bleak here.

Hi Vijay,

You can contact the colleges you aspire to enroll in and get the dates confirmed because every college has a different schedule.

With this score, you can try for ISB&M Pune, JIMS Delhi, Indus Business Academy, and IMS Ghaziabad

Also, I would suggest you apply for TAPMI and XIME also cause there's no harm in trying, right?

Hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any queries further. All the best!

Minimum 85 percentile is must in CAT and XAT to get call in Tapmi for work experience less than 12 months

Since your work experience is 3years you shall getcall on basis of profile and not entrance exam scores.

Hello Aspirant,

To get admission in amy of the top management and B schools your academics should be decent as apart from the marks of CAT, the oast academics are also considered and as you have provided your past marks your performance is below average so its quite difficult to say you will get admission there.

I hope this helps.

College Infrastructure

College has excellent infrastructure even back in the day (2016). And it has only gotten better. All classrooms are air conditioned, staged seating, audio loud speaker setup, wifi, projectors setup. And all classrooms are kept clean and well maintained.

My personal experience is totally satisfied
